I commented in this thread but posting again for visibility. This is not intended at all and is being investigated currently.
Some things I've noticed:
You can no longer "stop tracking" daily events that activate. Kind of annoying.
Items sitting out in the world no longer display a magnifying glass icon if you're searching for those components. Items in containers still do. Probably a bug.
I have a lot more camp budget space. Maybe 7-8 percent, so I must have had stuff they reduced in weight.
New radio DJ is well done and minimal, but I have yet to hear the new song from the trailer. Really, really hoping it's in there.

This was brought to our attention in the PTS and is slated to be fixed in a future update.
Daily: Pass the Buck did not allow me to sink the barrels even though I had AGI 5+ base.

I have the same problem, have been trying to fix this for over a week now and my support tickets stopped getting replied to, so now I havent been able to link my steam and bethesda accounts and no fallout 76 steam for me... do you think there is a work around for this since ive been trying to figure this out since before the deadline?

Atoms are specific to the launcher they are earned on. So any atoms you earned on Bethesda.net will stay there until they are used, and any atoms earned on Steam will stay on Steam. Purchases carry over between the two launchers, though.
Have you closed the game completely and rebooted it yet?
Shorter nights and longer days? Why dont they just remove the nocturnal legendary effect, cuz they obviously hate it as much as most of the ppl on this sub
The game still registers 6 pm to 6 am as nighttime for these affixes, so the legendary effects are unchanged.
This card works automatically now so you do not have to manually search containers anymore.
Sorry for late reply Ladydevann but I cancelled my Fallout 1st for the Bethesda launcher and it ends in October and I plan to start it back up on Steam and play on steam.
I assume I still get my monthly atoms on Bethesda launcher side, if I unlock Atom items after April 14th on the Bethesda launcher client and be playing on Steam, will those Atom store unlocks show up on the Steam client?
The atoms you unlock in-game will be specific to the platform you are playing on. So if you do a challenge and unlock 20 atoms while playing on Steam, those atoms will stay on Steam.
Do we know if Steam players will be able to play with Bethesda launcher players?

Ok, so I can play on Bethesda launcher M,W, F and steam T, Th, Sat, Sun? Atoms are the only thing that will not transfer. Correct?
