We're excited to announce the development of a new Guild feature—the Guild Conquest! As Guild interaction is the key aspect of Forge for many, we wanted to invite you for an early feedback session and sneak peek.
The feature we're developing will include three components: Conquest City, Guild Conquest, and Guild Great Buildings. They are in different stages of development, with the City mostly fledged out, the Conquest in active development, and Great Buildings in the research stage.
We've opened a dedicated forum channel where you can find a brief description of the components and guiding questions from our development team, from a simple "Do you like where this is going?" to specifics about a potential mechanic.

Our first Event mechanic prototype is ready for testing! Today all players received access to the exclusive world "Prototype Test" where the test will take place. Simply switch worlds and test away!
What you need to know:
- The test will run from April 14 to April 21 (this date may change depending on the results)
- For instructions on how to change worlds, please check this KB article
- Please report issues and feedback in this thread.
- At the end of the test, please fill in the survey we will send you on Public Beta (zz1)
Important! If you did not get access to the test world today, it means you were not registered for the test. Unfortunately, at this point it is no longer possible to join. If in the future we run another registration campaign, we will inform you beforehand.

Dear axe-throwers, it is time for the first balancing changes to the event with the next game update. Thank you everyone, especially regarding the Rune balancing. We hope you like the following changes:

Daily Challenges

We decided to remove the Runes as possible rewards, as they caused frustration for you and caused a bug. It will now provide more Viking Coins as well.

Daily Tasks

The general difficulty has been reduced. This includes the following changes:
  • Having to collect x specific rarity rewards from the wheel has been changed to any rarity, so you just have to spin the wheel.
  • Rebalance and Claim tasks have been removed from medium and hard tasks.

Rival Challenges

Many quests starting with the 13th Rival on April 11th are now easier here on beta. We will also look into making the previous tasks easier for the live servers.

Runes

Our development team has created a series of Event mechanic prototypes that need testing, and there's no one better to ask than you, our players.
So, we're kicking off our first-ever prototype testing, and it's easy to participate!
On April 4, all players on Beta will receive an invite in the Message Center (Official tab). Click "Accept Invitation" to register for the test, and that's it! The registration will be open until the test starts on April 14.
On April 14, all players who have accepted the invitation will gain access to the exclusive Prototype Test world where the new mechanic will be available for testing—but no other features.
Please note that by clicking "Accept Invitation" you register your consent to participate in the test and have your City layout copied to the test world. No other information other than your player ID is used in the process.

Dear Beta Testers,
We are making changes to how you access the Forge of Empires Beta App. From now on, we will no longer be using App Center for beta distribution. Instead, we are switching to Firebase, which provides a smoother and more efficient way to access new test versions.

What’s Changing?

  • Beta access will now be managed via Firebase instead of App Center.
  • A Google account is required to participate in testing.
  • Once set up, you can access new Beta versions without repeating the registration process.

How to Get the Beta App

To continue testing, please follow these steps:
  1. Go to this link: https://innogam.es/FoeBeta
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Check your email inbox on your mobile device.
  4. Confirm testing by clicking “Get Started” in the email.
  5. If prompted, log in to your Google account.

Dear Anniversary Party guests, the event is now almost over, but it's development is not! Thank you very much for providing all your valuable feedback! These are the changes we plan to apply on the live server:

Building Balancing

  • Chamber of Quantum Transcendence now produces 35 :fragments: Fragments of the Ascended Octo Orb Upgrade Kit (was 10). (Also applied on beta soon)

World Challenge

  • We fine tuned the level requirements, making the top levels actually achievable.

Rival Challenges

  • We are going back to 24 1 day Rivals Challenges (was 12 2 day Rival Challenges).
  • We reduced the total amount of Quests per Rival Challenges to 4 (was 8).
  • Eternal Market and Historical Ally :fragments: Fragments have been removed as rewards. Now there are only Boosters as rewards. This makes the Rival Challenges completely optional.

To reduce the time investment in Guild Battlegrounds, we will apply some changes starting with the next Battleground Round on April 17 already! The changes are designed to reduce the time you need to spend fighting and negotiating without reducing rewards.

The required progress on provinces will be reduced.

  • Copper League: 40 ➡️ 20
  • Silver League: 70 ➡️ 35
  • Gold League: 100 ➡️ 50
  • Platinum League: 130 ➡️ 65
  • Diamond League Volcano: 220 ➡️ 110
  • Diamond League Waterfall: 200 ➡️ 100

The attrition scaling has been adjusted.

The new maximum attrition has been reduced from 300 to 150, while still keeping 41 325% and 405 goods the max.
This means you will have more difficult fights and more expensive negotiations earlier.

The rewards have been increased.

To compensate for the doubled difficulty, we also increased the rewards:
  • Fragment rewards are doubled
  • Coin and Supply rewards are doubled
  • Diamond rewards are doubled
  • Unit rewards are tripled

Once again, I’d like to take a moment to share what we’ve been working on and what’s ahead for Forge of Empires. The most noticeable change so far has been the performance improvements to Guild Battlegrounds. We recognize that this took longer than expected, and we appreciate your patience. The reason behind the delay is that this particular system required a significant rework of some of the oldest and most complex code that had little documentation. This made the process both challenging and, in a way, an exciting puzzle for the team to solve.
The introduction of Guild Expedition: Trials has sparked some discussion, particularly regarding the boost value at the higher trials.
