Dang was really hoping they would remove the heat mechanic, still excited for the hole though.

definitely aware that the heat mechanic being overhauled / removed is one of the biggest requests when it comes to the beach! it's something that we were already discussing internally before y'all gave the same feedback

it was out of scope for QoL this year, but will make sure to bring it up next year (regardless of if the beach is re-ran again, or if it's a new summer hub - if it is a new hub, we'd want to make sure feedback from the beach is of course brought forward and considered in the core design)

Could we learn any info about this pet? Does it follow a drop threshold? Does previous clawdia kc matter? (registered at the lifeguard)

And why do some players' broadcast display kc for the clawdia pet, and others don't?

yes it follows a drop threshold & yes previous KC matters

unsure about the broadcast point though, noticed it myself earlier & will investigate

yep :) anything you can get as a drop from the skilling activities can be dropped from clawdia too

IIRC, during the Easter reveal stream, it was said that Mod Alex likes to add skeletons everywhere he works. Sadly, I didn't find one in the Blooming Burrow.

the blooming burrow one was extremely well hidden & we couldn't find it internally either (Mod Alex had to tell us)!

Cool but I don’t think many people do the shooting stars anymore.

I used to like the shooting star and evil tree back in 2011.

the lil guy would be going out with a rework of the shooting star D&D, so hopefully would make it more popular again :)

Is the magic golem outfit getting some sort of teleport to the D&D as part of this rework?

hadn't planned to so far, but it probably should have some kind of benefit like the sentinel outfit does for evil trees

i'll note this down - might not be a teleport (if it was, likely a once-a-day type deal as hunting the star is a fairly integral part to the D&D), could be some other bonus (e.g. extra stardust)

Apparently reddit, and a few places like discord, has had discontent about dungeoneering hole being "the method" to train dung yearly. so it could be retired or reduced rate exp drops occur?

i'd fear there would be riots in the street if The Hole was removed

The original post was in December 2023. Are the slower buckets a consequence of a script change elsewhere, as opposed to a direct alteration of the script that handles how buckets of slimes are put in your inventory?

that’s entirely possible - would need to dig around a bit more for general changes made around that time if it did happen in dec 2023 (so not just reported then, but the change actually happened notably earlier)

I’m serious about this, would be possible to investigate changing the lower part of the female’s model to fix just the weird leg bent that tends to cause these issues? Cause this isn’t even like limited to just this item, it’s really noticeable how tilted female legs are.

not an artist but i suspect this would be a much bigger undertaking - could affect hundreds of player animations, thousands of player leg clothing options, etc.

Mod Dragon & Mod Alex are taking a look at this to see what can be done (at the very least bring the mannequin more in-line with what it looks like on the player) - unfortunately as mentioned in the top comment there are limitations in how the skirt has to be rigged to match the player model

What's the difference between the live ops team and the seasonal event team? I thought this was live ops job to make events. Where they disbanded like the Ninja team?

the seasonal team has recently been put together to focus on the core seasonal updates (easter, april fools', halloween, christmas, etc.) - live ops has not been disbanded, and will continue to work on promos, other events, etc.

We are glad to see Easter penguins after 16 Years!, But we have question. Easter can be in March or April, depending on the year, unlike the other seasonal penguins that have their festive periods set at the same time every year. So our question is, was this taken in account? and If so, can we expect the Easter penguins to last though both March and April or have some other custom start and end dates? It is going to be very odd if they only exist in just either March or April, as it runs the risk that they spawn too early or too late on some years. (For those who don't know, the Pumpkin and Snowmen penguins last for the full months during October/December)

they'll appear between 15th March - 15th April :)

EDIT: although... looks like easter will fall on april 20th next year! we'll get this updated so they'll appear until late april
