Rune Dragons first phase still bugged ever since M&S update and no word of slayer cape's bugged 4% proc chance on max/comp/support capes.

I only just answered to your post about the slayer cape bug 5 days ago, FYI i just checked the fix and it's working fine but fixes can vary in the time they take between being reported and being patched for all kinds of reasons.

RE: Rune Dragons i'm looking at the job i made for it a while ago and can see it was already fixed and patched. If you're still seeing issues can you report another bug detailing what weapons/ammunition you're using?

Did a search and can see there's currently a job for that too. I appreciate it's been 2 weeks but the Anachronia team have been super busy getting out as much as they can!

From a quick initial look you appear to be right, funnily enough setting my "luck" does actually seem to make it work. In which case it might be that you have less of a chance with it attached to a cape? Which sounds very weird if so. Regardless i've made a job to investigate it and other capes such as the Invention master cape which someone mentioned in the comments here and get it sorted if it is a bug.

This is a known issue but one that's quite tricky to nail down, the devs are still working on a fix. For now if you run into this issue - you only need to initiate conversation with the Museum Guard who stands by the cape in Varrock Museum, you don't need to buy the cape at all.

Talking to the guard basically runs a check on the player to see if they qualify for the cape, which is why this 'fixes' itself. Hopefully we can get a fix out soon :)

Every time I try to change the colors on my max cape, it shows me a comp cape in the preview so it's incredibly hard to customize it properly at the moment...

The achievement itself won't actually give the title, it just checks that you've done everything for it, you'll have to speak to the NPC for the title.

You have to talk to Urluk (the camel) and ask "What should i aim for?" That should unlock it, but if not, can you send me your RSN and i'll check it for you?

Edit: just looked at your image again, if you could send me your RSN that'd be appreciated!

Hi guys,

Just to clarify once more, these are all variations of the Tier 1 Capes, where the exception is the Lore Cape which is T3 (Since Quest Cape is T1 and Master Quest Cape is T2).

This hopefully gives you a bit of insight as to how the base capes will look, and you can imagine how the next tiers will look with additional minor 'upgrades'.

Thanks Breezy! Hopefully we can formally establish soon that T1 comp will be obtainable as a solo player since that was such a major aspect of the comp rework in the first place.

None of that solo stuff is guaranteed, the design doc states that reaper and castle wars are controversial but only says “we’ve yet to decide what place they have on comp” not that we are definitely changing anything regarding them. This is some of the misinformation i was talking about. Those discussions are yet to happen.

I've seen a few posts so far about "nerfing" the stats.

My short answer is that the numbers on the document are not final - they're placeholder, purely for use in the example and that we've yet to decide what the final numbers will be.

I'll be addressing this and some other minor bits of misinformation that are being spread regarding the rework, in tomorrow's Comp Rework live-stream :)

Just read through the current version of the document, the below answers in the FAQ section contradict each other:

So, we’re getting new capes? What if I want to wear my old cape?

The Quest Cape, Master Quest Cape and Max Cape (and their old appearances) will no longer exist in game.

What about my skillcape perks?

Your skillcape perks will still be tied to their specific skillcapes. So, if you right-click your Runecrafting Skillcape, you’ll still have the option to find out about the Rune Goldberg Machine. If you have a Max Cape, or any of the other capes which allow you to have multiple skillcape perks on them (except Legacy Comp), then you’ll still be allowed to do this.

If you are removing the Max Cape then how would you still have the Max Cape to use the stored skillcape perk benefit?

The max cape essentially becomes the T1 Skilling cape (99 all skills) so it stays the same. Its just the naming/appearance that would be different really
