Read moreSorry to be annoying /u/dmg04, but the help post I made fell through the cracks. Is the team aware that Perfect Fifth on Polaris Lance is bugged? I didnt't see it on the help page. The perk is making the sound, but not triggering the effect.
I just jumped to Mars and tried this on my Polaris Lance - no issue repro.

This week at Bungie, a new Season is upon us.
Season of Dawn has finally come. Osiris calls upon you to combat the remnants of the Red Legion and prevent them from creating an alternate reality where they are victorious. Guardians are swarming Mercury and the Sundial in an effort to fix time itself. Obelisks revealed themselves on Mars and the Tangled Shore, bringing new Bounties to complete for sweet loot.
We are two days into the new Season with much more on the horizon. A legend needs saving, and additional obelisks will become available on alternate destinations next week.
Not only is this a change in Seasons, but an opportunity for your arsenal to evolve. New Exotic Catalysts are in the wild, granting benefits to a few Exotics you know and love. New Legendary weapons have been introduced, some packing new perks to give you an edge in combat. Definitely keep the feedback coming. What are you enjoying? What do you find to be an improvement over Season of the Undying? What isn't so exciting? How many Edge Transits have you gotten since launch? Have you eaten any bread?

Planning on including this in the TWAB. Wanted to make sure we could weed out some bugs before sending too many players there.
Known issue - team is investigating this for a future hotfix or patch. Once a fix is developed, we'll give you a timeframe for when to expect it.

To answer the first question: Yes. The Fond Memories engram features previous Eververse items, so new/returning players can earn items that they didn't previously acquire. As for our more active players, the items can be dismantled for shards/glimmer.
At this time, players can earn Bright Dust to directly purchase most new items as they become available. There will still be a selection of new items that are Silver only, but we'll be communicating this via @Bungie as they appear.

Xur will not feature random rolls in Season of Dawn. Sorry for the news, but want to set expectations now.
Direct purchase exotic armor will continue to feature collection rolls. Think of this as an avenue for players who have not earned those exotics to check off the box and play around with the perk.
Xur will have the updated Exotic Engram, so once you've collected all weapons, you'll be getting a randomly rolled exotic armor piece each week. Further random roll acquisition will continue to be available through the Nightfall: Ordeal.
We'll continue to collect feedback over Xur and exotic random rolls as it comes in. I have no doubts we'll see players getting some killer rolls from the engram next week, but others continuing their search for the perfect roll.

Weapon Mods
The cost of slotting a weapon mod has been reduced from 5,000 Glimmer to 500 Glimmer

- Increased in-flight damage from 100 to 200
- Slightly increased the amount of time you have in the air after activation

Currently, we’re in the final week for Season of the Undying in Destiny 2. All players should be aware that after this Season comes to an end, some activities and loot sources will become unavailable. Here are some notable callouts:
- Undying’s free and premium Season rewards—including acquisition for Eriana’s Vow*
- Eriana’s Vow catalyst quest*
- Vex Offensive matchmade activity
- Vex Invasions on the Moon
- Vex Weapon Data Seeds from Ikora
- The Gatelord’s Eye Seasonal Artifact
- Power bonuses granted from the Seasonal Artifact
- Season-specific Triumphs, seals, and titles
This still doesn't exactly confirm whether the bonus progress on the catalyst quest will be removed. Can you confirm this /u/dmg04 or /u/cozmo23 ?
