Q: Why were there no Christmas giveaways?

[*] A: Tophat - We have not traditionally observed Christmas in Galaxy of Heroes. The primary reason for this is that the Star Wars universe doesn't celebrate Christmas and as a consequence we don't either. There's also some practical components to this in that not everyone observes Christmas and we don't want to appear preferential to one holiday event or another. We've used our anniversary as our typical point to gift players a lot of goodies.

Q: What is being done for those guilds who are missing Wat Tambor shards from the TB where specific unit requirements were removed due to technical issues?

[*] A: Tophat - It was a two step issue. We needed to identify what the issue was that was causing the shards to not be given out and fix that first. Next is making sure we send out the shards. We believe we have a solution to the issue going live this week. After monitoring we will be sending the missing shards.

Hi Holotable Heroes!
Today’s update fixes an issue with Special Mission Rewards from Territory Battles. This was causing Guilds to sometimes not receive the correct amount of Wat Tambor shards. We are going to monitor that this fix is working correctly and will share the plan for these missing shards in a future post.

CHANGES
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented rewards from Special Missions in the Geonosis Territory Battle from being sent

I've escalated this to the team responsible for Fraud/Cheating. They will review to confirm but it appears that auto-retreating teams were causing some false positives. Thanks for the heads up folks.

Missing Character Shard Rewards from Territory Battles.

Hi folks,
We are aware of an issue when completing Special Missions in Territory Battles, including Republic Offensive. Some players are not receiving rewards for Special Mission specifically, the Wat Tambor and Ki-Adi-Mundi character shards. We have been investigating this issue for Wat Tambor and Ki-Adi-Mundi appears to be related. We will update you on when we will send players their missing shards and how we plan to address this issue when we return in the new year. Thank you for your patience.
Galactic Legends Not In December

Hi Holotable Heroes,
We've seen some speculation that Galactic Legends are coming soon but Galactic Legends will not be available this month. They will be available in a future update and in the lead up to their release, we will be revealing the requirements over time in game. We will be making an announcement when they are ready as Galactic Legends represent some of most notable characters in the Star Wars universe and are an exciting next step for Galaxy of Heroes.

Hi Holotable Heroes!
Today’s update address a minor issue from the Journey Guide release. Journey Guide packs were not appearing in the Find Flow when searching for gear. These packs are set to a low priority in the Find Flow so they will not appear in front of the nodes or other places you can farm this gear.

  • Mod Shipments have been updated for players level 85 including:
    • Removed 4* Mods from Mod Shipments
    • Your store will update with these changes with your next Mod Shipments refresh
  • Adjustments were made to General Hux's Leader and Unique ability to address an unintended interaction that was found by inserting General Hux into a Sith Empire team.

What makes this character unique?
  • Resistance Hero Finn introduces a new mechanic, Inspired and a new Keyword, Rally. His kit is a combination of Attacker and Support that helps his team while dealing respectable damage.
  • New Mechanic: Inspired - The Inspired status effect that does nothing on its own but interacts with Finn's kit abilities. It expires only after Finn receives 3 critical hits
  • New Keyword: Rally - Rallied characters act based on their role:
    • Tanks Taunt and gain Critical Hit Immunity for 2 turns
    • Attackers assist
    • Healers and Supports restore 15% Health and Protection to all allies

Incoming General Hux Kit Changes

Hi folks,
We will be changing General Hux's kit in an update later this week. After this update, part of Hux's Unique, Boundless Ambition, and Leader ability, Bow to the First Order, will only trigger if he's in a full First Order squad. See below for the updated ability description. Requiring the First Order faction for these abilities removes the unintended interaction we posted about last week and is more in line with our original intentions for General Hux to boost First Order squads.
We understand that this may change your calculation around investing in this character. Accordingly, we will be setting Hux’s Unique and Leader to level 1 for all players and returning any materials you applied in the same update. In the current Grand Arena Championship, your General Hux’s abilities will remain at whatever level you locked into with for this GAC. However, the ability itself will use the updated functionality. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Today’s update rescheduled the upcoming Territory Battles to the 16th of this month and fixed several technical issues.

CHANGES
  • Territory Battles Geonosis Republic and Rebel Assault are scheduled for 12/16
  • Replaced incorrect gear pieces for Sith Trooper at tiers 9, 10, and 11
  • Fixed an issue with the C3PO Large Gear Bundle not appearing in store
