Hi Holotable Heroes, The 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back rolls on and so does the theme for the Grand Arena Championships. This time we’re looking at the other half of the film, with feats based on Bounty Hunters and the encounters that took place in Bespin’s Cloud City. As before, the maps for your battles are all themed to Empire Strikes Back, and there’s a few feats that need some clarification as to what units qualify for them. [Developer Insight - Kit Reveal] Hi Holotable Heroes, The Imperial TIE Bomber is making its way to the Holotables, ready to enforce the Empire’s will on those who dare to rebel. Often serving in the first line of attack, TIE bombers drop vast quantities of munitions, delivering devastating attacks with frightening accuracy. Although the crewless TIE bomber is the first ship in Galaxy of Heroes to apply Burning, its main strength lies in being a defensive stalwart for Imperial factions. Crippling the enemy’s Offense and exhibiting bravado by Taunting is all in a day’s work as these ships seek glory for the Empire. Add the TIE bomber to your fleet and show those Rebel scum the Empire will not tolerate insubordination.The Basics:

Hi Holobles Heroes, Many of you have been asking about the drop rate during the Galactic Chase for the Rebel Y-wing and why it differs from previous Galactic Chases on Fleet nodes. We wanted to move Galactic Chases back to Fleet nodes for narrative purposes as well as knowing that players were already farming Fleet nodes at an accelerated rate due to gearing characters for the Galactic Legends. Back in July of last year, we changed the refresh rate and cost of Ship Energy to match regular Energy. This cut the refresh rate and cost of refreshes for Ship energy in half and Galactic Chase drop rates on Fleet nodes were adjusted from 4% to 2% to account for these changes. This does not change the drop rate for any other types of nodes that Galactic Chases can appear on. Read more

Hi Holotable Heroes, Starting next week, we’ve got a brand new season of Grand Arena Championships, and with the 40th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back happening during this GAC, we thought it would be an excellent idea to theme the GAC with that movie in mind to celebrate! It turns out that Empire Strikes Back is too big for just a single Championship as well, so this season will cover the Battle of Hoth and Luke’s training on Dagobah, leaving the other parts of ESB (bounty hunters and Bespin) for the next season. This month is 3v3 battles, so think carefully about who you set on defense and what you might expect to face. We’ve listed the starting dates for the feats so you can better plan your defenses and gear up your teams. All dates are approximate and may not sync up to your part of the world.

Hi Holotable Heroes, We’ve been following the impact of Galactic Legends closely. We have seen in our data and from the community that using undersized squads with General Anakin Skywalker can pose an issue for Supreme Leader Kylo Ren under the right circumstances. This appears to be more consistent than we would like to see and we are actively monitoring this interaction. In general, we want to avoid scenarios where a team performs better when undersized or lower investment (as was the case with Nightsister Zombie). As a result, we are likely going to make changes to address the viability of using undersized teams against Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. We have not decided on any changes at this time, but please be aware that there may be changes coming in the future. Read more
