We have read your feedback regarding the login queue and will be removing it before the end of the day. Character creation will remain disabled until 2/12. Please note that latency issue may worsen during this time with the login queue disabled. We are working as fast as possible to secure new hardware to improve the performance and stability of our game servers.

The Timed Hunting Zone Recharge Stones will be temporarily removed from the L2 Store after we found an issue where players can use them multiple times per day, which can put additional stress on the servers. The Timed Hunting Zones were never intended to be accessible for more than 11 hours per day. We will have additional updates regarding this issue and character creation next week.

Character Creation will be disabled on 2/5 and will be enabled again after the maintenance on 2/12 to help reduce latency on the server. A login queue has also been enabled during this time.

We will be adding the login queue back today and the character creation will be temporarily disabled until we have some additional server changes/fixes.

We currently have a bug in to Dev for this issue.

This is currently a known issue we have reported to Dev.

After today's upgrade, the CPU usage is lower than what we saw prior to the Winter of War update. We are seeing the latency in-game and are checking with the Dev team now for more solutions. Our server specifications are currently higher than Korea, so something else appears to be amiss.

Game servers will be down for a game update beginning Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 5 a.m. PST /  7 a.m. CST / 8 a.m. EST / 2 p.m. GMT+1 and will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. 

With this maintenance:

• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
• Hunting boost of XP +50% and Party Hunting Bonus +50% will end.
• The Red Libra event will continue for one final week.
• Zodiac Agathions will be available in the L2 Store for one final week.
• Changed the PK Scroll in the L2 Store to a non-tradable version that can be used in hunting zones.
• Fixed an issue where players became glitched upon entering the Baium instance zone.

• Fortune Pocket Stage 1/2/3/4 and Damaged Spellbooks will be removed from players' inventories.

As some of you have reported, our servers are currently experiencing high latency since the Winter of War update. We are actively working on reducing the latency experienced through server adjustments and upgrades.

As been pointed out many times before, the forum is not the place where these kind of reports can be looked into. If you would like to report a player for their possibly inappropriate behavior, please contact Customer Support and they will be able to investigate the issue for you.

When Support suggest that you start a thread about a particular issue on the forums, they mean to start a discussion about it so that moderators may in turn forward it to the game team, which is indeed done multiple times on a daily basis.

Furthermore, another important point:

Guys NC Soft just updated the software on my 86 inch Sony Smart TV and now I can't download any APPS and when I press the volume up button on my remote it opens my garage door.  I also noticed that they allowed me to "Loop Macro" the "on and off switch" on my TV so that it turns on and off by itself every 30 seconds!  Its hard for me to watch movies now and my electricity bill went up by 30% and my garage door opener is over-heating!  Has anyone experienced this issue yet?

We have an bug submitted to the Dev team to investigate this issue now.

The descriptions in-game have localization issues that we have sent to be fixed, but the website description is correct and they do work as intended.
