Character creation will be available again for one day immediately after the 2/26 maintenance is completed. We will disable it for one more week starting from 2/27 until 3/4.

I fixed the details in the first post to reflect that the special server settings event is for three weeks.

To clarify, the Clan quest system will not be removed. The Daily Coins and rewards at the Franco NPC in Talking Island Village that were introduced with the Lindvior update in 2013 are being removed from all regions. The Dev team has been making major changes to several game systems in the last few updates that they have deemed to be outdated or underused (e.g. Mentor system rewards). The next update will contain mostly quality of life improvements and hunting zones

Game servers will be down for a game update beginning Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 4 a.m. PST /  6 a.m. CST / 7 a.m. EST / 1 p.m. GMT+1 and will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

With this maintenance:

• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
• The Power of Love event will be available for one last week.
• Heartthrob Box will be in the L2 Store for one last week.

Other Notes:

• Shiny Coins from the Zodiac Agathion Boxes will be removed from players' inventories on March 4.
• Aden and Gludio server players, please prepare your characters prior to the server consolidation on March 4. Server consolidation details can be found here.

The VIP system will be undergoing some vast improvements with the next update. As part of the renewal, Silver Coins will be retired and no longer drop from hunting after the maintenance on March 18. Any unused Silver Coins will be removed from players' inventories during the maintenance on May 20.

Hello All,

Several hardware components failed during the initial testing of the new server hardware from the vendor. They are in the process of re-ordering those replacement parts before we receive everything. I am working with the dev team now on a compensation plan and will share more details as soon as I have them.

Game servers will be down for a game update beginning Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 5 a.m. PST /  7 a.m. CST / 8 a.m. EST / 2 p.m. GMT+1 and will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

With this maintenance:

• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
• The Power of Love event will be available for two weeks.
• Heartthrob Box will be in the L2 Store for two weeks.
• Fixed an issue where the Right-click Report chat function was missing after the update.
• Fixed an issue where non-tradable weapons were given in the Weapon Supply Box (A-grade). Any non-tradable weapons given from these boxes and the box itself will be swapped to the tradable version.
