Hello Everyone,

We hope you are enjoying the 18th Anniversary events and latest hunting zone update changes that were deployed this week. Our team is happy to announce future new content that is currently in development for all L2 servers. 

Our development team is preparing to introduce new content in the next few months. We have only received some minor details on the upcoming plans as they are still currently in development, but we expect to see the new content arrive on our servers toward the end of May and throughout June.

Please note the content may change once it has been deployed to our servers. 

Upcoming Content for Classic Server

1. Addition of new field raid bosses for higher levels
2. Introduction of L2 Battle Pass system
3. An exclusive new high-level Hunting Zone for Level 86+

We will share more details regarding the upcoming content changes later next month.

Are you certain the mobs are giving -15% less XP? We checked the npc files for any changes on the Cemetery monsters and did not find any changes at all.

Hi, i just noticed the cursed swords dropped on chronos 22min ago, before mainteance was dropping 1.22h ago.

Can u check if its bugged or smth?

The previous start time for Cursed Swords after daylight saving time started in March was not well received, so we requested for the Dev team to change it. The Cursed Swords schedule change was planned for next week, but went out unintended with the maintenance yesterday.

It was mistranslated and yes those are the correct skills you mentioned including Presence of Mind.

Skill animations were ignored if your DK used a 2h weapon. Edited the note for clarity:

Now with the change:

Subjugation: 20 AA

Frintezza: 20 AA (which I AM NOT going to count because not a single clan does it, only 1 alliance did it once [from my knowledge] in the WHOLE lifespan of the server and it took several fails to do so).

The development team took a few suggestions from the hunting zone feedback thread that was posted three weeks ago and made some adjustments to a few hunting zones. We will have additional changes announced in the near future for the Aden server.

The following hunting zone changes will be applied on 4/27/2022:

1. We have made several improvements to the Alligator Island time-limited hunting zone

A Blessing of Growth collection token has been added as a drop item throughout the Alligator Island time-limited hunting zone (0.05% chance in the Lv. 75 area/0.1% chance in the Lv. 85 area)

4 types of time-limited collections have been added and they expire after 6 hours (countdown starts immediately after registration)

Hello All,

The development team took your suggestions from the hunting zone feedback thread we posted three weeks ago and made multiple adjustments to hunting zones to help address some of the concerns that were discussed in the thread. We could not address every single issue within the short timeframe, but we will have additional changes in the near future.

1. The respawn speed of monsters in hunting zones from Lv. 55 - 75 has been referred to as extremely slow and inconvenient. Therefore, the respawn time has been shortened so characters can quickly level up to 76 at a faster pace:

The development team has taken suggestions from the hunting zone feedback thread we posted three weeks ago and have made several adjustments to hunting zones to improve hunting efficiency for Level 105-110 characters. We will have more changes announced in the near future from the Development team.

1. Reduced the stats of monsters in the Ivory Tower Crater and Silent Valley solo hunting zones to shorten monster kill time, while increasing survival rate:

The server crash hotfix has just been deployed to the Chronos server.

We have a bug in with Dev now for this issue. The wrong item version was used and will need to be replaced again.

There is no way to acquire these coupons as they were for an older version of an Attendance Stamp type event that ran in Korea last year. The items for that event were accidentally left in the multisell exchange and does not function since that event is not in use.

We are currently testing the hotfix for the server crash issue that we received this morning and will deploy it immediately if Chronos crashes again prior to the maintenance.

Apologies, it was an issue a few months ago that we resolved with a script to replace the old version that was not working with the NPC with the new version. The old stone was reintroduced again this month and we will have to request for another script to replace the stone.
