I just installed the update and my game looks like yours too!

I already tried to fix it with the client's repair tool. I may try reinstalling/updating the gpu drivers later.

I'm on Windows 7 btw

Hey, sorry about this. Could we get your system specs to help diagnose it?

Graphics card, DirectX version, specific windows version, processor, and memory would be helpful.

Most of it can be obtain from the "About your PC" section or even better using the CPU-Z tool.

Hey, could we get some info from you?

  • Mac OS Version
  • Mac Specifications (Ideally a capture of the About This Mac):

    • Memory Ram
    • Device specific model
    • Any other specs you can think of that might be relevant

oh boy, really hope this is not what devs mentioned new archetype of hunter.

Boring old animal companions, basically [[Call of the Wild]] on a 5/4 stick for 1 less mana and way more hassle to summon all of them.

Hunter as always gets boring stuff because devs have no idea what can hunter do outside of going face...

It is not!

And that's not fair. Sometimes they summon Big Beasts like King Krush. And then they go face. /s

Those better be real dogs from WoW or something, because they missed a perfectly good chance to call it Ruffer.

I mean... you can still call it Ruffer...

Been playing the game on this computer since 2013 with no issues. Occasional crash when multi-tasking (having browser open on a streaming site for instance).

Worth noting, the game starts up fine, shows the tavern door as usual, and when the Hearthstone title should appear instead the screen changes in a mess of pixels. One of them pretty cute too: https://imgur.com/a/w4H9mHd

Thank you for your reply.

Thanks! We're investigating!

How about keywords? Would something like Envenom Weapon make the minion have poisonous after it transforms back?

It should yup!

Hasky620

So if you buff it as a minion, does it keep the buffs when it returns to being a weapon, and vice versa?

Yup!

Muted-Recover5867

The dev didn’t lie when he said it was the coolest weapon card Lmao

;)

Neptulon was voiced by the absolutely incredible Taliesin Jaffe. :D

Found my arch-nemesis.

Dean thinks incorporating other Blizzard IP so far (Diablo) was "just okay".

lol, you get the sense that they were really not thrilled about being made to do this

I think it's great, just being honest about the overall impact to real metrics or subjective metrics like sentiment. I want to do more cross-IP stuff, just in a bigger way so we can get clearer learnings.

Just a display bug; it doesn't actually craft them if you don't have the dust. Working on a fix!

Yes I believe in you

Oh hi Iksar. Thanks for the answer. Interesting reason, not the one I was expecting tbh

I actually asked this question myself, which is the reason I know. The cards flipping in intro is one of the only things that lightly suggests to an unknowing player they are watching a trailer for a card game. We are making some adjustments to how we approach cinematics starting in 2023 (the ones for 2022 are either already being worked on or done), so we could bring back this intro or something similar.

Ultimately if we find that a large % of watchers are clicking away at any particular interval, it's a place we'd look to see if we can do better. The beginning of a video is always under intense scrutiny, though, just because that is where there is the greatest potential drop-off.

Just a time thing. Every second of a video that goes by some % of viewers click away. General opinion was to get to the action faster.

Is there anyway or anywhere we can read more of these art descriptions? That’s really neat!

Not really; we share them from time to time as a behind the scenes peak, but don't publish them or anything.

The art description for this piece (the short description we give to the artists to direct what they should paint) was:

An elderly grizzled human Paladin, with white hair and beard. He has his libram out, kneeling beside a dying alliance soldier on the battlefield outside Northwatch Hold, reading his last rites. (Focus on the Paladin)

No Arena team. Makes sense now.

Hopefully we see more love for arena in the future

I'm a little surprised that this keeps getting highlighted in summaries of the AMA.

What's unexpected about this? If you did expect that there was a dedicated Arena dev team, what do you expect that they did?

Flare_Wolfie

Because those are additional skins that replace actual heroes of Hearthstone. We don't have Jaina or Thrall cards for that reason, but anyone else is fair game.

This. There's a difference between an alternate hero that you have to go out of your way to acquire and use, and the base hero for a class.
