I have no plans to dye Mams' hair. Hair dye is a way to express and customize yourself, and I don't have any reason to believe that Mams wants to be a different color than she is. I know there's pet-safe dyes so that it can be done safely, but I just don't have any reason to do it.

Because those are additional skins that replace actual heroes of Hearthstone. We don't have Jaina or Thrall cards for that reason, but anyone else is fair game.

This. There's a difference between an alternate hero that you have to go out of your way to acquire and use, and the base hero for a class.

I'm a little surprised that this keeps getting highlighted in summaries of the AMA.

What's unexpected about this? If you did expect that there was a dedicated Arena dev team, what do you expect that they did?
