The fabled golden skeleton has come to finally claim his kingdom — the new, Legendary rarity Oro Outfit is now available in the Item Shop!

 

Oro Challenges

Some kings rule with an iron fist, but others rule with a golden Wrap and Pickaxe. Whether you own the Oro Outfit or not, you can complete Oro’s Challenges to unlock  — for FREE — the new Greed Wrap and Gilded Scepter Pickaxe!

Available now until March 31 at 9 AM ET, Oro’s Challenges include the following objectives. Complete two for the Greed Wrap and four for the Gilded Scepter Pickaxe!

• Assist teammates with 10 eliminations.
• Play 10 games with a friend. 
• Deal 1,000 damage to opponents.
• Collect 40 medals.

A prosperous ruler, each of his Challenges is also worth a whopping 100,000 XP.

How to Host a Private Match

Requirements

• You must have 2FA enabled on host account(s)
• Your account must be previously entitled by the Fortnite Competitive Team to run private matches
• The host and the players must be playing in the same region
• If games are being streamed, hide the passwords, or unwanted guests can join your private games

How to Host a Private Game

1. Ensure you are on the correct server region (in the settings) as your participants
2. Select the desired game mode in the bottom right of the screen
3. Select the custom match button located at the bottom right on the select game mode screen
4. Enter the password you would like to use, and click Accept. See password rules at the bottom of this guide.
5. Press "Play" and wait for all of the players to join using the password designated by the host mentioned in Step 4.
   • The host should be able to see how many players are in the queue.

How do Outfits and Back Blings work?

You can now select any Outfit and Back Bling you own in BR in the Save the World Locker and that look will apply to your Hero, regardless of which Hero you have as your commander. 

Want to use the lower rarity outfit? You got it!

You are no longer limited to the appearance of your Hero based on their current rarity. You can choose any style you’ve already unlocked. So if you have a Tier 5 Legendary Hero, such as Rescue Trooper Ramirez, you’ll be able to choose any of her lower rarity and tier in yo... Read more

Harley Quinn, Gotham City’s iconic Maiden of Mayhem, arrives in Fortnite starting February 6 at 7:00 PM ET. 

The Item Shop features the Harley Quinn Bundle, which includes the Harley Quinn Outfit and Harley Hitter and Punchline Pickaxes. If you’re up for hijinx, Harley arrives with new Challenges that will transform her from Lil Monster XoXo Harley to Always Fantabulous Harley. 

To unlock Always Fantabulous Harley, you’ll need to complete three Challenges:

• Place top 30 in Solo, Duos, or Squads, then top 20, then top 10.
• Hit weak points.
• Deal damage using Pickaxes.

Harley Quinn will be in the Item Shop until February 17.

On February 15 and 16, eligible PlayStation 4 Fortnite players can drop in and compete in the Fortnite Celebration Cup Solo competitions for an opportunity to earn in-game items and a share of $1,000,000 in cash prizes. Each Solo competition is open to all eligible Fortnite PS4 players, according to the Official Rules. To participate, players also need to make sure their Fortnite account is at level 15 and 2-Factor Authentication is enabled on their Epic account. 

On Day 1, February 15, top-performing players on each regional leaderboard will have the opportunity to earn the following in-game items:

There’s something unusual about this Cameo appearance. Complete the Challenges in the Cameo vs. Chic Mission to unlock the new style for Cameo, the latest of this Season’s superstars spotted with a mysterious form.  The rewards for the Mission are:
