Read moreAttention Vanguard,
The latest warclone deployment was a success, seeing new types of contracts, new warclone suits, and a new mining prototype being put to good use on the ground. Warclone Founders have already proved instrumental in the development of EVE Vanguard, and this event saw some of the first content created based on player feedback, as well as significant strides toward adding way more sand to the sandbox.
THE RESULTS ARE IN
Since the first introduction of First Strike deployments, Vanguard Founders have made their feelings known and helped shape the planetside battlegrounds of New Eden. The most recent event saw significant improvements and additions based on community sentiment, chief being the ability to choose between contracts impacting corruption or suppression. While many mercenaries were happy to contribute to corruption within the system, some did not wish to put boots on the ground except to work towards suppression, and First Strike March introduced this ability,...

The Monthly Economic Report for March 2024 is now available!
This month we changed the valuation of asteroids to be closer to the actual market value and less affected by price fluctuations caused by low volume trades that highly affect the asteroid prices. We also removed items from the Consumer Price Index that we feel should not be in there, because these items are mostly traded between players and NPCs.
Asteroids are now valued at 70% refining value. The following graphs are affected by this change:
Production vs. Destruction vs. Mining
Summary of Key Economic Figures by Region
Overseer Personal Effects, Sleeper Components, Triglavian Data, Rogue Drone Analysis Data and Bounty Encrypted Bonds were removed from the CPI. These changes have minor effects on the following graphs:

Read moreUPDATE: We deployed a small patch at downtime today to address this issue and have re-enabled the NPC in-space item traders throughout New Eden.
Capsuleers,
Due to an issue which was recently uncovered we will be temporarily disabling all NPC in-space item trader services in EVE Online.
Traders affected include:
- Upwell Applied Gravitation Research Centre in Auviken
- Triglavian Biocombinative Schematic Cache
- Drifter Wormhole Vaults
- Pirate Laundering Centers and Counter-Insurgency Outposts
When attempting to interact with the above traders, players will receive an error message which says “You cannot do that because the structure is currently offline.” We anticipate this outage will be resolved within the next 24 hours.
In the meantime, players can still run content and accumulate the tokens which you will be able to resume trading when the item trader services are re-enabled.

The correct price is reflected at checkout. Sorry for the confusion.

Pioneering capsuleers,
Something new is taking shape among the stars, in the highsec system of Auviken. The Upwell Consortium, through member corp Propel Dynamics, has just deployed a new research and prototyping facility in orbit of the planet Auviken VI. They’re offering capsuleers the chance to contribute by collecting items from Rogue Drones, including “Drone Graviton Emitters” from combat anomalies and cosmic signatures in empire space and bringing those items to Auviken VI. This gives capsuleers of any experience and skill level an opportunity to visit the system and contribute to the development of the facility.

CONTRIBUTE, COLLECT, CASH IN
While its purpose is as yet unclear, the prototype structure is a sight to behold, and offers exciting activities for industrious capsuleers. Each Upwell reward crate can be obtained from the Auviken VI facility by handing in 1x Drone Graviton Emitter, 10x Drone Cerebral Fragment, 60x Drone Capillary Fluid, 40x Drone Tactical Limb, and 100x Dro...

Read moreHey there!
We do hope to release them in April. However, we’re also exploring the possibility of releasing two versions of the CSM 18 Summit minutes, given how much information was discussed about the upcoming expansion.
Thank you for participating in the trial period for Omega Pro Max and the New Eden Recreational Feed. We had a lot of fun dreaming up these apps, and we hope you’ve found the NERF entertaining!
When we introduced the beta for EVE Online’s new launcher last year, we took our first steps on a journey of iterative improvements to increase security, enhance user experience, and incorporate many long-requested features, such as launching directly to characters.
The apps we implemented in NERF were part of our exploration to test the new launcher’s possibilities, both in terms of function and value to the players. We were very excited to share some of these tests with you and are very happy to see the feedback we received from the community. Tests like these are immensely valuable and will help us as we continue developing the launcher.
For those sad to no longer have access to Rebel Radio, Instalock, or Readnought, if you’ve accessed them before, you can still access them via the tool menu ...

The adventure continues with the upcoming beta test of Play Science, a mobile companion app designed to bring the challenges and rewards of Project Discovery to your fingertips. The test launches soon, and now is the time to sign up!
WHAT IS PROJECT DISCOVERY?
Developed in collaboration with Swiss start-up Massively Multiplayer Online Science (MMOS), Project Discovery is a unique mini-game that is quick, easy, and rewarding to play, with the substantial benefit of advancing real science.
