The Anger Games has grown into one of the largest player-run tournaments on the EVE competitive scene, and all the action begins this weekend! Attention Vanguard, 

The latest warclone deployment was a success, seeing new types of contracts, new warclone suits, and a new mining prototype being put to good use on the ground. Warclone Founders have already proved instrumental in the development of EVE Vanguard, and this event saw some of the first content created based on player feedback, as well as significant strides toward adding way more sand to the sandbox. 

THE RESULTS ARE IN 

Since the first introduction of First Strike deployments, Vanguard Founders have made their feelings known and helped shape the planetside battlegrounds of New Eden. The most recent event saw significant improvements and additions based on community sentiment, chief being the ability to choose between contracts impacting corruption or suppression. While many mercenaries were happy to contribute to corruption within the system, some did not wish to put boots on the ground except to work towards suppression, and First Strike March introduced this ability,...

Economic Capsuleers!

The Monthly Economic Report for March 2024 is now available!

This month we changed the valuation of asteroids to be closer to the actual market value and less affected by price fluctuations caused by low volume trades that highly affect the asteroid prices. We also removed items from the Consumer Price Index that we feel should not be in there, because these items are mostly traded between players and NPCs.

Asteroids are now valued at 70% refining value. The following graphs are affected by this change:

Overseer Personal Effects, Sleeper Components, Triglavian Data, Rogue Drone Analysis Data and Bounty Encrypted Bonds were removed from the CPI. These changes have minor effects on the following graphs:

Something new is taking shape among the stars, in the highsec system of Auviken. The Upwell Consortium, through member corp Propel Dynamics, has just deployed a new research and prototyping facility in orbit of the planet Auviken VI. They’re offering capsuleers the chance to contribute by collecting items from Rogue Drones, including “Drone Graviton Emitters” from combat anomalies and cosmic signatures in empire space and bringing those items to Auviken VI. This gives capsuleers of any experience and skill level an opportunity to visit the system and contribute to the development of the facility.

In the past few months, legions of warclones have gone boots-on-the-ground to try out EVE Vanguard, the sci-fi sandbox FPS set in New Eden, thereby helping to forge the future of the broader EVE Universe. Competitive capsuleers, 

Last weekend, the ensuing stages of the Anger Games were made public! With the sign-ups closed for the next community tournament, the organizers tallied the team rosters and gave the teams a matchmaking ranking, and brackets were drawn. The tournament competitors will undergo a grueling series of group stages (and a small path to redemption arc) before the remaining teams clash in a small double-elimination tournament. With a whopping 51 teams registered to participate and potentially a roster of 30 pilots per team, we will surely see a vast selection of tournament rookies and veterans battle it out for the top spots.

The tournament will be broadcast live on the CCP Twitch channel. With over 100 matches to play out, there is also a secondary channel covering matches without commentary. The first match is set to start at 17:00 UTC on 13 April, continuing with the same start time on 14 April, and then for the next two weekends on 20, 21, 27, and...

Since December, monthly First Strike events have seen legions of warclones take to the battlefield in EVE Vanguard, shaping the development of this new sci-fi sandbox shooter through their participation and feedback, and forging the future of planetside combat in New Eden. The best way to quickly experience new activities without waiting for a long skill queue to run its course is to try them out with Expert Systems. The First Strike February playtest has concluded, and legions of Vanguard have done their part to spread chaos on the battlefield. The continued support and participation of Vanguard Founders in these events is vital to the continued development of the game, and we want to thank all warclones for their service. 

CLAIM YOUR PRIZE 

The Deathless puts a premium on valor and has paid particular attention to the activities and achievements of warclones who went boots-on-the-ground for this playtest. All participants were eligible for special rewards, provided they finished certain tasks, such as scoring 50 kills or collecting 2,000 units of biomass as a part of a squad. Don’t forget to warp to New Eden to collect your prize if you have reached those thresholds. 

The leaderboards for First Strike February have been finalized, and the top players are receiving a wealth of PLEX for their actions—our congratulations to the winners.
