I suggest if you think it's to buggy or running not stable as A8 go to preferences and opt in for Alpha8 to continue where you was until your issue/s are fixed.
hint : you're able to choop trees with the starting survival tool using the defence mode.

How did you try to "transfer stuff to your inventory" ?
IF you had stuff in your player inventory when leaving the A8 game and then starting A9 this MIGHT happen i am afraid as the Toolbar/Player Inventories have been reworked and we could not "save" the previous state. Same applies for fridges, constructors, furnace and deconstructor as those now all have a different way of setting up their inventory. If you start a FRESH A9 game (or if the vanished items relate to any other container), items vanishing from the toolbar/inventory should NOT happen. In this case > please file a bug report. Thx.

There is still available what you need may try freedom mode ? The origin of early access games especially Empyrion is that it continously changes mechanics or replace them, add new ones ect. Our Devs allways try to give the player the tools to be able to configure and play their games with their own playstyle and speed. As tip i can only say often blueprint your belongings so if there is a usual wipe at a update day necessary your able to rebuild in no time while using admin and console powers.

Can you respawn it in using the command console:
sbpThen retype sbp to turn it off.it shouldn't happen on a freshly spawned vessel the walkway blocks were split into a large & small group.

Which prefab ? or prefabs ?I cannot see any prefabs that have a message about forbidden blocks or appear red in the BP list.

Yes complete fresh starts are necessary.

Gravity generators have a range within which they operate. They don't stop at the hull of your ship. It might be a bit surprising, but it's not a bug.

may there will be fix for some issues bevore 9.x get to stable branch but i asume your guessing right. As the troop transport issue is anyway a minor issue (even if it is annoying) but this is a really older issue wich is hard to fix since there is no reproducable case with a 100% trigger.If your able to reproduce the issue with success i suggest head over to the bugforum here https://empyriononline.com/forums/bugs.24/ and send a proper report, just to know there is a bug doesn't help much to fix it for the devs they need use cases to catch down the crittersgl & hf
