It's a steam related error.
Your mod files are corrupted. Save your storage folder, uninstall Eco, remove the whole Eco folder, reinstall Eco and copy the storage folder in again.

Since PVP will never be a thing in this game. Will we ever see NPCs that could be hostile towards the players? Or NPCs that one can inetract with (trading for example). Having no threat after the meteor is dealt with makes the game stale after a while, like you stated above.
Maybe more natural disasters like a volcano. (though I'm not sure how you could deal with one)

Likely not either. We're thinking more of the creative part of the game, countless people play minecraft creatively, extending their cities without ever hitting a creeper. Some people already play on worlds for several months and create ... Read more
Make sure you have the correct type of power - we have mechanical and electrical power. Power range is extended by every object that uses power automatically.
Hey there,
stealing and murder will never be added to Eco, we want it to be a peaceful game.
The kickstarter goal of a justice system is not yet implemented, but the intention is to remove the automatic enforcement of any laws (you simply cannot do something, when there is a law that prohibits you) to allow players to still break the law and being able to be tracked down by other players in order to deliver the punishment. How this will be done exactly is not clear yet, but likely both ways of using laws would be possible in the future.

Hello,
on the right side, near the minimap are three coordinates, the middle one is your height level.
Hello,
yes - i understand what you mean now. But this is actually intended.
The map is just a world file, it does not include the configuration, the configuration is global for the server with which the world is being run. You can change these settings at any time in the /steamapps/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/configs directory. Difficulty can be found in the Difficulty.eco. Meteor Time you can find in Disasters.eco.
The reason for that is that singleplayer pretty much is a server and on servers you only host one world at any given time, otherwise you need a second config directory. Implementing the settings into the savegame might be something to think about, but it would be hard to do it in a way so only singleplayer is affected, as admins might want to change stuff on their servers while the game is running in the old school way.
If you want to play with one of the earlier settings on a different map, you can ever change the configs before booting the server, changes can be made at any tim... Read more
The highest naturally generated block at any given position. Not to be confused with water level.
The setting was moved to Mods/AutoGen/Plant and has to be set for each plant you want to adjust.
Sorry, could you rephrase that? I'm not sure what you mean.

Hello,
we do not have an option to turn this off yet, but there is an issue on our bugtracker about it.
Try the /level command, but do a backup before playing with it.
Performance Improvements are in 9.0, which is not yet released.
No, but in Update 9.0 there will be one.
XP can already be configured.
Not a known issue, but some AV softwares tend to block internet connection for Eco or other stuff every now and then, not much we can do, those companies are not very cooperative.
That's what we plan for them to do.
Streaming on the test server is not yet allowed, so that won't net results that could be posted here.
We don't have a ETA yet, but the blogs can't be taken to calculate it, they'll just continue after a possible release as well.
