For the people strangely against hoarding:

Armor is literally getting sunset, hoarding allows players who spend quite a bit of time grinding nightfalls for exotics, and masterworking multiple sets (whether it be on one or multiple characters) to be able to save up enough resources so they don’t have to continuously grind every season or in this case, grind far more in the fall, just to masterwork their ideal armor. Also there’s nothing wrong with hoarding, we hoard glimmer, legendary shards, bright dust, planet mats, tokens, etc all the time. Why should shards and prisms be treated any differently.

I'll bring the feedback back up with the team. The new context around Max Power Levels you bring up is a good point.

Rasputin is at full power. Tomorrow at 10AM PT we take aim at the Almighty. http://pbs.twimg.com/media/EZwoPLNVAAEeDSy.jpg

I pictured you two snickering to yourselves, sitting next to each other in the studio, as you ally-ooped each other for this comment train.

Then I got sad. Because COVID means it didn’t happen that way. Do you miss each other?

Yes.

Where did you go to sign up for bungie promo stuff?

On your bungie.net profile, go to your settings page. Once you've verified your email address, there are checkboxes for various types of emails you can choose to receive from Bungie. I think news and promos like this are the first option on the list, if I recall correctly.

You can also be signed up by giving your email address when you first start playing Destiny 2 and then responding to the verification email that will be sent to you.

Ah shit, I forgot one of the patch note previews.

Cozmo, you want to tell them about the minor changes to Aneteus that the team cooked up?

This is why I never take time off. ;)

Changes to Antaeus Wards didn't make it in the patch for next week but are currently scheduled to come out the following week.

  • Removed bonus to super energy when reflecting shots
  • Added 1.5 seconds of sprinting before exotic perk can be triggered by slide

We may look at Exotic more in the future but we wanted to get this change out for S11 and gather data/feedback on how it affects the sandbox.

I guess I should feel honored you wasted your 1 reply a week on me.

It wasn't a waste! You were worth every keystroke.

Question: will the 20 clears thing be retroactive, or will the update put everyone at a 10% chance regardless of past completions

Won't be retroactive. Yes, I feel the sting too after ~30 or more Riven checkpoints.

We'll get there.

JohnGazman

And are you able to confirm that this is retroactive, or will be 20 clears from when the patch goes live?

As someone still chasing Anarchy after 28 clears, i'm hoping it's the former.

We looked into making it retroactive but couldn't make that happen. Sorry about that. Knew it would be kind of a bummer, but still felt the changes where worth making for your progress going forward.

NorEastor1

You're* allowed to talk when you have something to shill and your overlords allow you access to a computer.

No more, No less.

*EDIT: Not calling out dmg specifically on this. This applies to Cozmo and Deej as well.

Thanks for making me feel included.

mattster42

Still no love for Tarrabah drop rates?

Checking with the team, Tarrabah will follow the same rules as the other exotics.

Starts at 10%, builds to 50% over 20 clears.

Skeletor_418

Glad to hear its being fixed nonetheless, its good to know the team still works on fixing up the things that even arent at the forefront of problems. Polaris lance has been a favorite of mine, cant wait to bust it back out !

At a time, this bug was slated for fall after being pushed from a few releases. Lucked out being able to push it up.

OrangeLocker

Polaris Lance finally fixed after two season?! LETS GO

It was an annoyingly deep bug. The team was excited to get this one out.

Sounds like it's almost time to log in on my little brother's account and remap a few random buttons.

Let's be bad guys.

After 2 weeks of ignoring the subreddit lol

Edit: Come on Bungie defense squad let’s keep the tears coming

Real talk:

A lack of replies isn't an act of ignoring posts. Sometimes we can give concrete info and lengthy replies, which feels great. Other times, we don't have much to say. I know a lot of you greatly enjoy the opportunity to meme on a "Thanks for the post, we'll pass it along" reply. Sometimes I poke fun at it too. I just wasn't taking the time to hit those.

Last two weeks, between personal illness and some other projects, I didn't take much time to reply to threads. Just spent time talking with devs about specific feedback points, helping folks to reprioritize some issues, and focusing on some upcoming content.

Will make sure to reply more often, but please don't take a lack of replies as us ignoring y'all.
