And you're getting this crash every time you're in the main menu?
This was after verifying your files correct?
Do you happen to have a copy of the specific crashstack? It's saved in this folder location:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Saved\Logs
It'll be the .crashstack file which can be opened with notepad. You can attach it to this post, or upload it to a site like www.pastebin.com and send us the info
Aye, we had em cut down considerably from a month or so ago but looks like they're getting through a lot more aggressively now. Spoken to our tech folks and they'll be making some further enhancements to the spam filter which will should cut down on these guys getting through.
Do you happen to have a video of how this works, or perhaps locations to an area where this is being used in game?
Hmm, will investigate this. Definitely not intended.
Nah definitely not, just an additional way for folks to play the game targetted at those who couldn't really commit to the online persistent world environment.
For obvious reasons, we won't be lifting the ban.
Appreciate ya keeping this thread active and edited. Number of good ideas in here
I might be confused but the map in Singleplayer (assuming you haven't used a custom json/map images and are just running with default), is the same that we use on the Official networks.
Much more logic involved and heavier on server performance to make it dynamic.
The bug was prior to the additional changes, but it would have still impacted crew on land. The correct prioritization is listed in the notes.
Crew on Land:
1st priority: Resource Box and Food larder
2nd priority: Silo
3rd priority: Claim Flags
Crew on Fully Anchored Boats:
1st priority: Silo
2nd priority: Claim Flags
3rd priority: Resource Box and Food larder
Additionally, with claimflags you can choose:
Not to use any gold or food to pay for your crew on your island
Have the gold/food only be used to pay for crew belonging to your company on your island
Have the gold/food only be used to pay for crew belonging to your company and allies on your island
Have the gold/food only be used to pay for crew belonging to your everyone on your island
I think that covers about everything, I am going to go ahead and lock this thread cause the back and forth is a bit needless
Read morePeople can turn off the ability to have gold/food taken from claim flags altogether, if they prefer.
The reason we opted for it as 2nd priority over Resource Boxes and Larders on anchored boats is so that people didn't feel like they would have to continuously replenish their stockpile on anchored boats (loading them up is quite a process compared to claimflags/silos).
We'll have a patch going out soon which will introduce a new structure to the game. This structure can be used by settlers/folks who live on lawless or unclaimed islands to have a simpler way to feed and pay their crew.
Ahoy Pathfinders!
In the last Captain’s Log, we revealed our plans to incorporate a Singleplayer game-mode; initially, we had hoped to release a beta-test by mid-July. Due to unforeseen circumstances… we’re ahead of schedule! The beta was released over the weekend, earlier than expected! (ikr)
Singleplayer Mode Beta
Singleplayer will be accessible via the in-game menu as of the latest major version. Unlike our previous betas, this is a game mode that doesn’t impact the multiplayer version, therefore, it was optimal to integrate it into the live game immediately. An added benefit of doing so is that you won’t need to maintain separate ATLAS folders or switch between the branches to access the Singleplayer beta and also play on the Official/Unofficial networks.
The game mode is still in a highly iterative beta state. You will encounter issues but rest assured it is still fully playable. We’ll be actively collecting your reports and feedback as well as patching issues thro...

Thanks for the
We've still got a long way to go, but we're committed to the cause.
Our spam filters are much tighter now too, so we should see a lot less getting through.
We are aware this doesn't resolve the problem for people who don't live own claimed land (settlers and lawlessfolk ) and we are actively looking into a way in which we can do so. There have been some great ideas shared in regards to improving this system, and we appreciate the feedback.
