It's great you guys are trying to figure out this issue. As I said since installing my 2x 2080ti's I haven't had ANY issues what so ever, and I've seen reports of other games with the the same thing happening.. However it's awesome to see Nvidia are able to reproduce the issue and are aware of it.

There was actually a mathematical error that I made during the design of the backend automation.
I got to bring some extra eyes on it today and have fixed it so that the scoring is now reflective of the intended weighting.
I am still getting some extra checks done to be safe, but I have added to the rankings the split for evaluations and vote scores.
There is also still the potential for further evaluations from other Wildcard employees over the next week, so scores could still continue to change for a bit.

Here is my SLI usage in ARK just now whilst taking screenshots for the new patch.

Wardie above said that he rolled back drivers and it's working fine, he also said he replaced his aging PSU. So I'd probably try rolling back drivers to see if it fixes the issue.

Don't worry it will happen, it's still on my to-do list. We just super busy with a lot going on in Q4, so once that's out of the way I'll have some time to take care it.

I just did a quick google of your card and it draws 280-300w on it's own lol. Now I'm not saying your PSU isn't enough, just in general these cards can really hog power.

This is simply not true. I have been running ARK on SLI for the past 3 years, and I continue to do it today. I use it to film all of our trailers. I usually see a 20-30fps increase with SLI turned on. I am now also running ARK with the new RTX cards in SLI getting anywhere from 80-100fps on epic and in 4K.

@DylanT30 have you tried using DDU to do a proper deep clean of the drivers and then to re-install?

From the quick research I did I have seen the same issues happening with Rainbow 6 and Far Cry 5. I'm also seeing a lot of BSOD issues with the new cards from them drawing too much power for peoples power supplies.

At 1pm Eastern on October 11th we will be taking down some of our NA and EU servers for maintenance on PS4 and Xbox. We expect maintenance to last for approximately 2 hours. During this time the servers will not be running therefore time will not progress. Once the servers are back online, they will require re-adding to your favorites list as they will have new IP addresses. Below is a list of all affected servers.

Are you looking for a particular tutorial on how to mod something in ARK and haven't been able to find one yet?
The Modding Tutorial Bounty Board is a way for both experienced and new modders to influence the kinds of tutorials the community produces. Submit a bounty request, and if it's added to the bounty board, Wildcard will offer a cash incentive for other mod authors to create a tutorial for it.
The bounties will have a cash value assigned to them, based on expected difficulty, when added to the board. Mod authors can make and submit their tutorials to me in order to claim these bounties and their cash rewards.

Speciality servers are alternate game modes for ARK that last for a short period of time. Each new theme will bring on a new set of challenges different from that of servers currently available. However, these seasonal servers will wipe and change theme after a determined period of time.

We're looking for input from you Survivors today. We've set up a thread and we'd appreciate if you could drop your suggestions into the separate thread below.

Changes will revolve around edits that can be made to the existing config which means modifying ini and server settings. These types of changes can include many things like: tribe/alliance size, anything related to dino stats and taming, server rates, etc. This does not include things like mods.

Some examples can include:

Solo, no tribes

Mammals only
No carnivores
Small Dinos only

Hey Survivors! We've been hard at work and we believe we have potentially fixed a case that has caused dinos to disappear. This thread is being provided so that you (PC players only) can provide feedback on this fix and let us know if you see a noticeable difference and improvement.

You should not have a case where your dino dies/disappears without leaving a message in the tribe log.

If you find that your dino has still disappeared with no update in the tribe log, please post here and try to provide as much information as possible about the case in which the dino has disappeared (example: where the dino is locations/what are the surroundings, was the dino in stasis, were you near the dino, etc).
