There's still no censorship for kingdom names in the beta, just the onomastics tab for some reason.
It's about generator not creating bad words that then kids show their parents, who then shout at us.
You still can name your units/kingdoms any way you like

Tried to replicate no double stats issue - didn't work. Maybe there's additional step I'm missing? Tried to save/load and restart the game.
Can you check if there's no damage genes in second chromosome?

u/ReaperKingCason1 were they different subspecies? And second subspecies(of Urophech) had very low lifespan?
