Will we be able to use drifter melee outside of duviri area

Currently no. Drifter melee is unique to Duviri. But you can get Warframe-compatible versions of the Drifters melee weapons for your Warframe. Also there are some Drifter Intrinsics that apply outside of Duviri wink wink.

When will you get rid of sticky corners? Even our orbiters have them! This is a sincere concern from all speedframes.

It’s really annoying and it drives me crazy, we’ll have to take a look at it after Duvuri.

hi! is there any chance you can add different shaders for helmets (like shading them differently) or is the helmet too ingrained in the design of the body?

The Helmet and the body are intended to be unified.

What where your favorite warframes to work on?

A giant statue in Duviri was applying an animation and it looked insane. Also when you melee with the Drifter there’s a 10th-of-a-second hit-stop, there was a bug where if you combined certain moves it would stack and you would hit the enemy over and over again in slow motion.

The Kubrow/Kavat malformation bug reappeared and at one point Kaithe’s looked like mutated dinosaurs. Kinda cool lol.

how do you view "power creep" and the topic of player power VS game challenge?

We have always embraced the power fantasy and the fun that comes from being godlike while fighting mere mortals!

The one downside of this, is that it's near impossible to make truly challenging content when Warframes can easily be immortal and deal ludicrous amounts of damage. Those two objectives are at odds with each other, and for us the fun comes from the power fantasy, so that is our guiding principle.

Hey DE, I'm a huge and I mean HUGE fan of the music you guys create, any chance we will see more work from Keith Power, his work on the tracks like "This is What you are" are unbelievabley good. Will we ever get to see more from this story from a gameplay perspective,rather than just secret monologues.

What inspirations have been used to make the art style of duviri?

The work of Keith Thompson, Marco Hasmann, Mike Sebalj, Craig Sellars as well as the rest of our very talented concept team. Our in-house concept art team did tremendous work on the concepts, I can’t honestly say that we took outside influence for this one.

Are there any plans to update older open worlds to be up to speed with deimos and zariman in terms of progression? Fortuna feels vry dated sometimes with how long the grind took.

We’ve been concerned with trying to eliminate grind wherever we can, it’s not something that we want to one and done. We are keeping an eye out for where the grind is too big.

We had a version of the Dev build that was explicit about it, but we removed it because it asked more questions than it answered. So I will not answer this question, because you will ask more.

Hey DE, keep up the great work. When it comes to new augments, what is the general process that chooses which frame games an augment next? And when is gauss’ next ;)

We have a gigantic list with all the Augments. Whoever doesn’t have one generally gets priority, sometimes we do one for a new frame to try and top them up. We also like to have fun, so if someone has a cool idea we’ll try to sneak it in, even if they have a lot of Augments

As for the next one for Gauss, we’ve got a lot of work that’s taken our focus with Duviri but we’ll get back into a rhythm with our augment development overall.
