12/21/2023 11:30am ET Cross Platform Save Status Update: TEMPORARILY PAUSED 

We have temporarily paused the drip gate while we sort out some findings. If you were able to Link or Merge during the stress test, you can continue playing Warframe with said Cross Platform Save feature. We will update you when the drip gate reopens for everyone!

Tenno, the next Cross Platform Save rollout phase is live: everyone can now attempt to Link or Merge their accounts via the Account Management page on https://www.warframe.com/ 

We are operating this phase in a "stress test" style, meaning we may need to pause the phase periodically if we see stability issues. We will update you here and on all our channels as the phase proceeds. 

We will continue to update our Socials, Forums, and in-game Red Text as we test and prepare next steps.

After investigation, can confirm that this is a result of account merging where part of your progression got copied when it should not have. This will be fixed for you in an upcoming hotfix

Hi, confirming that the Quest unlock issues from merging are known and fixed for future merges. If you're experiencing this bug, please make a support ticket!

Couldn't fix it in time for today's hotfix but I can confirm this bug is on our radar for 2024. Added to known issues list!

This is a known issue, we tried to get it in for the end of the year but we couldn't manage it. I'll add it to Known Issues vis, we'll look at it for 2024. :) 

Nintendo Switch Specific Notes: 

• Changed the Grimoire’s Alt Fire projectile to prevent frequent crashing for our Nintendo Switch Users. This is a temporary change until the Code fix can be shipped in our next Cert build.
  • This alt fire projectile no longer applies chaining electricity damage, which greatly reduces the overall damage output of this weapon. While this functionality has changed, the explosion still functions with Tome Mods. We understand that this is not an ideal situation, but due to the prevalence of the crashing, this temporary workaround was needed until the permanent fix comes in our next Cert build. Rest assured, we’ll be reverting this change once that build ships!

Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry Changes and Fixes:

• You can now access the Operation Store via Vigile Jahu Gargoyles in other players’ clans! 
  • Note: You cannot contribute to their Curse progress, but you’ll be able to purchase wares with Grotesque Splinters. 
• Increased reward sorting importance for Curses and Grotesque Splinters so they now appear near the top of the list in the Mission Progress screen. 
• The Fragmented Trio (Anchorite/Suzerain/Zelator) will now search out cloaked opponents if they sense a hiding enemy nearby, instead of just giving up.
  • Now, these enemies will use their area-of-effect attacks to find you if they sense you're hidden nearby!
• Adjusted the Fragmented Trio's beam attack to better match its effects.
• Adjusted secret boss’s Cascading Fragmentation ability to deal more damage and scale more aggressively, but be triggered later in the fight.

DirectX 12 Crashes
Earlier this week we posted a PSA about DirectX 12 causing crashes with Warframe while using an AMD graphics card. The team is still investigating a stable fix for this issue, but for the time being, we are temporarily disabling DirectX 12 for AMD Graphics Cards with RDNA2 architecture or lower. This is done to ensure affected users can have a stable Warframe experience over the holidays until we can find a permanent solution.

A highly trained ninja-architect has repaired this dojo. As far as we can tell, it seems likely that it was broken since the last update, where it was possible to break parent:child room hierarchy, and this particular dojo fell through the cracks when we fixed that.

This was accidentally disabled for the Playstation specifically. The next hotfix should resolve this!

Hi there, based on the information available it sounds like you are describing a Link, not a Merge.

Had you ever participated in a PC-to-console account migration (to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch)? If so, the PC account is not eligible for Merge but can still be Linked.

This is intended. You don't need to kill the enemies with your shotgun for this to count. Secondary weapon kills will contribute to this challenge!

I recently lowered our clan rank from Mountain to Storm to make things a bit easier for our smaller, active group during the operation. Then I noticed a hiccup, though—our curse counter for one of the curses was over 10 before the rank drop, and now it's acting a bit off. I'm concerned this might mess with our chances of getting the golden trophy and the new signa.

Before I fire off a ticket, any chance you could shed some light on this? Your insights would be a big help because I can't stop thinking I shouldn't have done it.

The best group to shed light on this is in fact our support team. It looks like that first row is not "completed" despite there being enough contributed, so I would submit a ticket.

Am I in for some sort of error next week?

Howdy, Tenno!

We have identified an issue where decreasing your Clan Rank during Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry can lead to Clans being unable to progress in the event. To address this issue, we are temporarily removing the ability to decrease your Clan Rank.  This restriction will remain until the end of the Operation, and will not impact the ability to invite new Clan members while the Operation is live or increase your Clan Rank.  For more, you can read the PSA: Clan Rank Decrease Disabled for Operation: Gargoyle's Cry for further updates and details.
