With Unreal Engine deprecating Shader Model 4 and requiring SM5, we'll also need to increase the min-spec GPU requirement for VALORANT from Intel HD 3000 to Intel HD 4000. You can still play with lower-spec GPUs, but if compatibility issues come up, we won't be able to fix.

In the next 30 minutes we're going to turn ranked on in North America. If all goes well there, we'll turn ranked on in Europe after the hotfix patch (so after 9:30AM CEST on May 1). We also... reserve the right to turn off ranked at any time if things get weird.

Maintenance is taking a little longer than expected for NA. Servers will be back up closer to 12pm PT (EU servers are not expected to have this delay).

We meant May 1 for EU. The letters are close together.

Tomorrow we're deploying a hotfix patch to address some exploits, fix two bugs, and revert the headshot sound. NA's patch hits April 30 @ 4:30AM PT, back up @ 10AM PT. EU's patch hits April 31 @ 3:30AM CEST, back up at 9:30AM CEST. If all goes well after this... maybe ranked.
