Well, we can tell you that we haven't really made the bots any smarter - they're very much still beatable.
Have you joined our Discord? The people there would love to give you some tips and help you 100% the bots again. :)

That's just not the game we want to make.
We realized that the systems the game relied on were flawed and ultimately prevented us from developing. We couldn't add new features, we couldn't balance, etc. So we had to make the changes we made so that we could keep the game going. And because naval combat was boring.
And besides, we're all happy to see the OP Battleships go. :)

Poor Polaris Swordsman. They're regularly overshadowed by the Battle Sleds. Let them have their moment.
