Where is the rest of the conversation? It looks like you left out all the text of your own that the support member was replying to, so you could cherry pick and take their words out of context.
It seems that they are making a personal suggestion, not a general one, for someone who can't hold their tongue and who is prone to verbally lashing out against teammates who don't perform perfectly.
So there's plenty of missing context here. First, the ban itself was justified. Second, the question the agent answered - after respectfully explaining the ban and the reasons for it - was pretty much obvious bait.
At this point in the back-and-forth with the agent, OP sarcastically asked whether they should just go AFK in games rather than asking the other team to report their teammates. They said they'd do that next time (neither are great options, btw). The agent responded, as you can see in the lovely image above, and the player then doubled-down, vowing to "ALWAYS" go AFK in games rather than let any negativity seep through.
There's a lot to unpack here, and I don't really like to jump in threads like this, but it's pretty glaringly posted in bad faith.
Btw If you're looking out for your self-interest, Leaverbuster IS probably better than getting permabanned for extreme negativity and harassing your teammates in about the least productive way possible. But - obviously - neithe...

All of our agents are empowered and encouraged to write in their own voice and from their own point of view. We definitely use macros and automation for certain things when it's operationally necessary or we simply need to answer as many questions as possible due to the size of the queue (account recovery or certain first-touch interactions are good examples), but everybody you talk to in PS is a real person who plays League. Our PS agents often are some of the community's strongest advocates, helping us get the full scope of "player pain" out there and allowing us to better talk to dev teams about it (yes Riot uses that phrase and yes I know it sounds kinda unsettling in a vague but friendly way).

I liked the test but a few of the questions really bothered me a lot. The question asking if you would flame someone who’s being a jerk or playing bad is horrible to me. I would flame someone being a jerk, but I would never flame someone just because they’re playing poorly. Also it’s really situational, like if they’re a top laner crying JG difference I’d ignore them, but if they’re and ADC saying our support should uninstall I would flame the ADC

Yo! I love this, we took a lot of cues from MBTI, the Enneagram test, etc when thinking of the four archetypes. The test originally began as something way closer to MBTI, too (and there were wayy too many types at first). The actual "letters" in our tilt types would be E+I / F + T. That would be "Externalize" vs "Internalize" (where you direct the emotion) and "Fuck This" vs "Try-Hard." (how you react to the emotion). We sort of kept the structure but lost the letters, haha.
I have fun comparing the Tilt Types to something like the Enneagram test, personally. Type 1 = Paladin, Type 8 = Barb, etc. Oh, I'm an INFP btw, and I vacillate between Veteran and DGAF.

I don't believe I tilt easily over players being bad. But I sure tilt fast when my own team is flaming me. Under that, even if I think I my team can turn it around and make the win, my team is being so shitty to me or each other I just don't want them to win.
Edit: I've decided I'm the domino. I'm not the first in the row to tilt, but if another domino tilts into me, I tilt almost immediately.

I’ve found a temporary solution. If you were given a download file with a specific number, take that number and put it at the end of https://tilttypes.riotgames.com/en/p/
2 should be the barbarian, 3 is the scarred veteran, 4 is the paladin, and 5 is Lord Dgaf. Each page has an in-depth description that’s worth a read.
