Hi! Would like to follow up on the fix status of Delta errors and sudden disconnection in the Dark Zone (with 30 second disconnection notice saying any movement will cancel it but still disconnects even though i am playing) in PS4 Pro. This has been happening since TU 8 or 9. If i am in Asia server,i kept getting disconnected. I also get the dreaded 9% and 100% hang on start up and after character selection. Please help! I'd just like to play the gane. Thanks!

yeah it is on our radar of connection issues that we are currently investigating :)

Working as tester unfortunately is not possible to reproduce the issue.

  • It happens randomly, sometimes a couple of times in a short period (less than 30 minutes).
  • Not a difference if player disconnected is session owner.
  • Sometimes a couple of players are disconnected.
  • It seems that just before blue screen the game goes slowly or some visual FPS issue happen or some issue to connect the servers.
  • Also, it seems to my experience that if I go away for some minutes and the game goes to character selection menu, there are most possibilities that in the first 2 or 3 missions game freeze and exit to blue screeen.
  • It seems sometimes that more skills are on the screen, or more enemies, or both, more the possibilities that someone goes offline.

Not tested the blue screen of today, this is my last 3 month experience.

Hope that this is clear, english is not my first language and I'm on phone... :)

I had it happen on legendary roosevelt at the end when we were coordinating skills to take down the boss. Ps4 slim. Happened to all of us at least once in that same area. One time 3 ppl blue screened at once!!!

It happens mostly on missions in my experience.

One time we even counted down to when someone would use a skill - when they got to 1 i disconnected. May have something to do with skill usage...

Seems to happen more often when someone in the group is using a pulse skill. It has also happened with no one using a pulse skill.

It was very rare for me to get a bluescreen pre-TU7. This is the only problem I get with the game now. I'd say once or more a day. I don't experience other errors like Echos/Foxtrots (those happen maybe once a month).

  • Rebuilding the database or re-installing the game does NOT fix the bluescreen crashes!

Wow, it took about 9 months for this issue to be finally officially acknowledged. Frequent blue screens and game crashes started happening on PS4 with the release of I think TU6 or TU7, before one of those updates game crashes were quite rare (maybe 1 in 2-3 weeks), but after the update it started crashing on daily basis. I've been playing almost every day since day one and after that point it became very rare to not have at least 1 blue screen a day. The max I ever got was 5 blue screens in one day and once I had the game crash 3 times during one mission (heroic Bank HQ) in full group. I once checked logs on my PS4 and it was full of the same error from the game. On average it was 1-2 crashes per day.

I'm using the original PS4 with internal SSD and this is the only game I've had so many blue screens. And it happens at random, it's not like it happens after performing a specific action in game.

Got past it by restarting the mission. I will gladly record it for you, if it should happen again.

The problem was, that the enemy who is supposed to kick the door open never did that. He and his buddies just fought me through the window they had access to instead.
