I dont think you guys did much testing or you have crappy testers because you would have seen that the players on Pandemic can just grapple up to a rooftop and the zombies can't get up there and that's game or they place a few barricades and block off a building or hallway and the zombies cant do crap about it. This mode is severely screwed!! Remove the grapples and barricades it ruins the game.

Grapple Guns have always been disabled in Pandemic. If survivors can get somewhere in Pandemic, the infected can get there too. In fact, infected players can jump higher and farther than survivors.

Remember, you can climb on top of an opened door to reach places that you normally can't jump onto from the ground. We've also buffed infected players' resistance to Barricades with today's update, so your chances against survivors have never been stronger as the infected team.

So the Stingray was nerfed on PC, but has been left alone for Xbox. Good to know the distinction. Was it nerfed for PS4 as well or just PC?

These changes were made on PS4 and Xbox One in an earlier update, and rolled out on PC with today's 1.21 update.

Operation Apocalypse Z: Survivors Now Live on Xbox One and PC

Operation Apocalypse Z: Survivors arrives today on Xbox One and PC with all-new Contraband rewards and new game content in all modes, including Infected: Final Stand in Multiplayer, Pandemic in Blackout, and the new “Duck and Cover” Gauntlet in Zombies. Our PC 1.21 update is also live today, delivering new weapon tuning and gameplay improvements across the board.

We've made several tuning updates to Pandemic today to do just that, including increased resistance to Barricades and fire damage, increased sprint speed, ladder climb speed, and melee lunge range for the infected team. Pandemic Updates, Sliding Adjustments, and Zombies Weapon Tuning

In today’s maintenance update, we’ve made new adjustments to Pandemic thanks in part to community feedback and internal data. Zombies will now respawn faster and have more of a fighting chance against the living, and all surviving squads will now properly see the Victory screen if they make it to the end of the match.

In MP, we’ve begun rolling out updates to restore the original slide velocity for all Specialists, with corrections for Battery, Crash, Firebreak, Prophet, Recon, Ruin, Zero, Torque, Nomad, and Spectre now live. Due to technical limitations, adjustments for Seraph, Ajax, Outrider, and Reaper will be incoming in an update next week.

In Zombies, we’ve increased the headshot damage for fully Pack-a-Punched versions of the Vapr-XKG, Swordfish, and Havelina AA50 with High Caliber equipped. See below for the full list of changes.

Why can’t you hear the zombies now in Pandemic. All zombies seem to make no noise at all, sneaking up on you. They’re supposed to be a horde. I understand that killing with zombies is difficult but something has changed with them. You can hear them spawn but after that nothing. They literally make no noise. Just quiet footsteps.

Good catch. Zombie sounds should be happening more frequently with an upcoming update... not an intentional change.

Does anyone have the same problem were the some zombies maps get uninstalled, and i have to download it again, and after I downloaded it i enter the game and it does the same thing!

The latest map versions are now available in most regions, and are still being rolled out in a handful of remaining territories according to PlayStation. More details here on how to tell if it's fixed in your region:

Treyarch, there’s a bug/glitch at least on Xbox that is affecting the Weapon Charms and the Death Effects on all three modes You can equip them but once you left the lobby and return, they disappear ;-;

What about Classified?

It keeps constantly giving the prompt to re-download it everytime the game boots up

Classified is part of the same Zombies map maintenance update. If you see the file sizes above for your DotN and Ancient Evil downloads after completing your current transfers, your next download of Classified should be the latest one as well. PlayStation is working to have this fixed in non-US regions shortly, so you can try again a bit later if you still aren't pulling down the latest downloads.

Issues We’re Tracking

We’re currently tracking an unintended issue causing exaggerated sliding since Tuesday’s update, and are currently investigating a fix.

Also, PS4 Zombies players still experiencing prompts to re-download “Dead of the Night” and “Ancient Evil” should be on the lookout for the latest versions of the maps with the following file sizes:

  • 5.264 GB for Dead of the Night
  • 4.479 GB for Ancient Evil

The new mode pandemic, is it out down but not out thing? You will respawn as zombie as long as your squad is alive?

You'll respawn as a zombie for the rest of the match once you're eliminated, and as more members of your squad are eliminated, they'll join you as members of your new zombie squad against the rest of the survivors, similar to Infected in MP. Check it out for yourself!
