Make sure to properly test it first
This thread is old and was referring to the first hotfix.
Closing.
Keep an eye out for the DLC stream next week
We did not roll back all servers, only confirmed servers that we’re targeted during the initital attacks and attacks following the first hotfix.
1974 was a confirmed target on Monday, and the players, who were targeted directly, lost all their progress. This was the reason for the rollback of your server. Also, these attacks were not only on American servers.
Hello Exiles,
As you might have noticed, there was downtime for a quick hotfix on Monday the 18th of November.
I wanted to give some more details and facts on this hotfix and also give context to some of the discussions going on on the forums:
In the middle of last week, a player manipulated game code to disrupt specific servers. Some players on these servers were directly affected, and this resulted in the loss of all progress made since the servers’ official introduction right after release.
Our development team reacted immediately and created a fix that we applied to all servers yesterday.
Let me clarify that this wasn’t merely an exploit of game mechanics, but the attack of a hacker who targeted certain players. Because of the seriousness of the issue and the magnitude of the loss for the players affected, we decided to do a rollback on the affected servers, which was communicated through the Message of the Day.
Unfortunately, the problem persists, which means we are still seeing i...

We are really sorry for all the frustration this causes.
VERY assassin’s creed!
Some amazing contributions already!
All right everyone,
I think this specific thread is done regarding to why it was posted. Now it’s derailing into name calling.
Closing this thread.
Please be good to each other
If you feel like something has been removed by mistake or unjustified, please reach out to any of our community team members for clarification.
However, I can’t see any of your posts being removed or hidden from our side?
Update:
I see there is one thread from yesterday regarding an exploit report. It was flagged from the community side and then hidden by a moderator.
According to our rules, we do not allow exploit discussion on our forums. In that specific thread, you were asked to follow our procedure regarding exploit reports and reach out to either @Ignasis and/or @Hugo directly.
I hope this clears it up. However, again, please reach out to the community team directly if you have any questions regarding moderation or content being removed or hidden. We do not hide criticism and feedback posts as long as they are constructive and follow our forum guidelines. They are important to us to be able to keep improving Conan Exiles.
An official post is in the works. Please give them a bit of time to properly settle in first
No, put your tinfoil hat away, please. Thank you
Thanks for all your additional input to the ones being constructive and helpful.
We are trying to address these issues as fast as we can.
If your post was hidden or removed, there was a reason for it: it went against the forum rules which are clearly stated here.
You are very welcome on these parts of our woods as long as you stick to the rules which you agreed to by signing up for our forums. You are also welcome to send the community team a PM regarding posts being hidden or removed. We are happy to assist and explain our actions.
All right, everyone:
Understandably, you are frustrated when the game does not work as expected and we are doing everything in our power to help.
We have been reporting your issues as soon as they were brought up and verified. The team has immediately focused on looking into the problems, and we are addressing them.
Knowing what the issue is (or assuming so), means that people are looking into possible fixes. It does not mean that we have an immediate fix to the problem.
Performance issues are always a priority, and we are treating those as such. They are, however, in most cases quite complex to fix.
Saying “it will be patched next week” does not mean the same as “we are fixing it next week” (and not doing anything in the meantime).
We are working on fixes for the FPS issues now, but some fixes take longer to finalize (because, in this case, the fix asks for something to be rebuilt that takes a few days to complete).
Additionally, we want to make sure we can help the team with as much...

haha, I wasn’t promoted to anything specific and think I mistakingly changed the title when trying to adjust something else on my profile
@Bridacious yes, we will absolutely announce it on Twitter. We always do for any updates
@Kumiko yes they have a good idea of what is causing it and a fix is in the works as mentioned above.
Read moreThat fix is unfortunately a bit more involved, but the team is trying to get it out as soon as possible.
Thanks for all your input everyone, we really do appreciate it.
We shared your feedback with the Team and they have been hard at work:
- We have a hotfix coming later today for PC for the Thrall issues with wrong HPs, naming and items not displaying.
- Early next week we will have an additional hotfix for PC for the thrall idle sounds, performance, and the armor stat issues.
- Consoles will be patched in one go as soon as we have the builds through certification at Microsoft and Sony. We expect this to happen sometime next week.
Thank you very much for your patience
