@__The_Wrench__ Not sure if you can use the Steam music player directly on your phone, but you can download the album on your harddrive after purchase and transfer the files on your phone.
Starbase Official Soundtrack Vol. 1 is now available for purchase on Steam! The soundtrack contains 23 tracks with a total play time of 2 hours 28 minutes. Happy listening! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1312940/Starbase_Soundtrack_Vol_1/
@Kruzil Shouldn't be any features that have been entirely scrapped, but many have gotten improvements/been changed from the state they were first shown in. For example the mining cycle has gone through changes and will likely continue doing so through Alpha and EA.
Progress = made Starbase Progress Notes have been posted on the forums, lot's of pictures and videos included so take a look! https://forum.starbasegame.com/threads/starbase-progress-notes-week-18-2020.968/ http://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video_thumb/EXLHr34WsAI4iQ2.jpg
@PVallum The starting area of the game is very large and currently contains 1 gas planet, several moons and an asteroid ring, which is about 2000 km in radius. Getting to the moons takes days πŸ˜„ Eventually the game area will expand to entire galaxies, but this is the start.
@Kruzil @Frozenbyte @starbase They're walking during the first 5-6 seconds of the video, the rest seems to be sprinting. Running isn't the fastest method of getting around - turning off mag boots and floating or investing in a Vasama to fly inside stations is definitely faster.
@Kruzil Glad to hear you enjoyed them! πŸ˜„ Some anomalies with the shadows/rendering in general will likely remain until late EA, but the most noticeable issues get a higher priority. So it's on the fix list but can't promise it'll be perfect before CA/EA.

@MihalyDucz @Haladmer At least 16 - adding a few extra minutes for the journey to the asteroid ring.
@Kruzil You can do them either with friends or solo, both are possible! πŸ™‚

@TrainingKourse There is no limit to how big the Mega Stations can be 😁 Like cities, they expand as the population grows!
@Dastonio No, not yet! We'll make some noise when Alpha is ready to start πŸ˜„
@xJohnFly πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
@jackmerritt60 Stations are stationary in Starbase, so no orbiting.
@TrainingKourse You can do as many mining jobs as you want, even endlessly. The mining job area is instanced, so there's no limit to how many players can be mining at the same time πŸ™‚
@r4be_ Yes, pretty sureπŸ™‚The level of detail (or LOD) on stations helps with the performance. LODs render completely when the player gets closer to them so an entire station won't be fully rendered at any given time. It also helps that stations don't orbit.
We just posted a collection of previously unpublished Starbase materials on our forums, mainly from 2020. Enjoy! https://forum.starbasegame.com/threads/starbase-progress-notes-previously-unpublished-materials.915/ http://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video_thumb/EVuO-VIWkAAqo7Z.jpg
