Wowowowowowowow, okay okay. Wow. Let me just start out by saying we received over 400 entries. Not just any entries, AMAZING ENTRIES. Every single one of you should be proud of what you crafted and put together. You all made judging this the hardest thing we’ve done yet, which is a GREAT thing. We’re overjoyed by how many took part in this and put your heart into it.

So many of you even took the time to name your buildings and put stories and backrounds to them even though it wasn’t required! We loved reading them and shared many with employees across the office.

We judged each entry on creativity and originality. Please note that, as mentioned, many entries had backstories to them but they were not used in judging the entries. We will include them here though so others can read them too!

Wat. I don’t think we’ve emailed anyone back about entries. We haven’t announced anything yet. If you emailed in at [email protected] then your entry was successful. :b I have no clue which entry is yours but as long as you followed instructions, then you’re fine.
If they’re not a Funcom community manager (which they’re not), it’s likely not true.

Hey all! We have a new patch for you. This is now on live, moved from TestLive. So if you’ve seen the TestLive notes, you’ll notice they are about the same.

CHANGES TO SCORING SYSTEM

We have completely revised how scoring is done for the game. We did this for two reasons:

• The original scoring system scored only on kills, which tended to promote bad play habits.
• The kill scoring system was completely unfair to co-op players who liked to primarily build the base and leave the combat to the other player.

GENERAL SCORING CHANGES

• The base score for killing a creature or creep nest has been reduced. This revision adds new dynamic modifiers, so this was needed to keep scores from getting larger than the score screen could handle. However, most players should see their scores get larger overall.
• You now will gain score for each structure you build; the score is relative to the gold build cost of the structure.
• You now will gain score for each research task you complete; the score is relati...

Once the contest closes and we announce the winners on the 8th I’d LOVE to make a separate thread for everyone to post their creations on. We’ll make a post on the winners and everyone will be free to put theirs up. I won’t be able to post every single creation due to the huge amount of entries we got.

The graphics were improved with the latest patch. There are no plans currently for further updates to visuals.

Hey there! A launch day patch is out now that improves the graphics and performance. Sorry for the trouble!

The launch day patch for Nintendo Switch is available now offering improvements to graphical fidelity, detail, and performance compared to what’s on the retail disc and the initial digital release earlier today. Good luck in the Zone, mutants!

Quality is fine as long as we can tell what we’re looking at. The last contest, we specifically wanted good quality shots since they were made into framed pictures in the game! There isn’t a prize this time so the screenshots are just for us to judge.
And yes, once the contest closes we’ll look through all entries and contact you about DLC!
