I will be pre-ordering as well XD Me mum is flying over to visit from the Caribbean on the 10th, so I gotta get my games in now not to mention the wife is going to London on the 20th, so I’ll be stuck watching the kids 24/7.
@Fatshark_Hedge Is this the remastered version? Which will require a new download of the entire game? Also, file size? I want to make space on my SSD XD
Fatshark has offered you a full refund many times. You’ve been saying that you quit and won’t be back since summer 2018, yet here you are. Just take the refund and move on with your life. You are obviously extremely unhappy with the game and have been for over a year now.
On another note, that Minotaur looks amazing. Can’t wait to fight that bad boy. I remember during one of the streams they showed off how they make monsters. Tons of work goes into them
Read moreIt’s been so long since I’ve used a console… but back in my CoD4 days, I think I had to port forward my router to get NAT type Open. Not sure if that’s still a thing. Otherwise I’d always be set to moderate or closed. And it made it super hard to find lobbies.
Edit, just Googled. Apparently all you have to do is this,
Just follow these steps:
- Navigate to your router login page. …
- Log in to your router using the required credentials.
- Navigate to the UPnP menu on your router. …
- Enable UPnP.
- Save your changes.
- Open the Settings app on your Xbox One.
- Select the Network tab.
- Select the Test NAT type tile
Maybe I was remembering port forwarding from hosting Minecraft servers or something.
Read moreWell, there goes most of my hobbies…
I just came to the realisation that I don’t really have that many hobbies besides V2, dank memes and DnD. Wait, does alcohol count? Cause I like to sit off every 2 weeks and have a few while blasting some music.
I suppose meeting people is a hobby? I’m very active on a lot of discords/communities and tend to be very social. I try and organise meet ups with people from around the world. It use to just be old FFXIV and maplestory friends. But lately I’ve been meeting up with randoms from various warhammer communities and other games. Good times, drunken 2am shenanigans in Stockholm and various other places. That’s one thing I love about Europe, so cheap to travel to different countries.
I use to hit the range a lot, perks of army life. But unfortunately I don’t get to shoot any more, cause I’m living in Sweden. When I’m back in Bermuda, I’ll always swing by my old regiment and do a bit of target practice. I’...
Read moreJust do it Julia. It’s always better to ask forgiveness than permission.
On a serious note, can’t you guys just do one of those Tshirt companies that youtubers are always plugging away merch from.
On a more serious note, when can I swing down to Stockholm and grab a shirt? I’ll be there this weekend for the pride parade.
Holy Sigmar
Read moreIs there a stream today? Someone please post any info. Stuck working down in Eskilstuna at some Swedish concert.
@FatsharkJulia Normally handles Tech Support. Hopefully she has some suggestions.
Yea, is Geneviève Dieudonné coming in the next expansion then?
Thanks for this post, clearing up a lot of things. As for more information,
- Will there be another beta leading up to release?
- If not, what are the chances of getting a balance patch directly after release?
Now, I hear about seasonal weaves, and I’m kinda worried that these are going to pull staff away from the base game to work on them. As someone who is not interested in weaves at all, can you let us know what exactly “new seasons” will entail? Is this just switching up spawns and mutators? Or are we talking about new weave maps and so on? Or are you saying that seasons will bring additional content for the entire game and not just weaves?
Finally, what are the chances of getting the new crafting system for the base game? Is Lhoners cosmetic shop still in the works? Deed rework? Night maps from October ...

It always makes me laugh how much we Brits complain about the heat, then we go vacation in places around the Mediterranean. Although, I guess drinking a cold beer pool side in the heat is probably not the same as working in it.
That’s like Jamaica… I hated it there. Was so hot, then you jump in the water to cool down and it’s just as hot as the air, lol. Luckily, my island only hits high 30’s when we’re really unlucky. Normal temp is 28-32C with 70-90% humidity.
So turns out I’ll be visiting Ireland sometime this year. I try and do meet ups with people from Vermintide, FFXIV and other games a few times a year. We met up in Stockholm in March and we’re meeting up in London next month, well at least my wife is. I have to stay home with the kid this time So I’ll do the next meet up in Ireland instead. Looking forward t...
If I’m not mistaken, the original 2 heros were from Vermintide 1 that got carried over.
huh? I call out fatshark just as much as anyone else. I spent the first week of beta complaining about the stagger and dodge changes, even going so far as saying I will not be playing if it goes live as it was. I’ve openly stated multiple times that the weaves do not interest me and I’m not excited for them.
I’ve spent the last 9 months trying to get the night maps added. As well as the games optimization fixed, to which many other people were/are having issues. Dropping to 20 FPS on hordes and so on. I definitely wasn’t sucking up or giving them an easy time, lol. Not to mention the Hero badge has been in use since March 2018 on different users. But it’s a problem now?
Yea, let’s not do that please.
Read moreI wouldn’t call that an article, more of a blog post that reeks of self advertising. You can taste the salt through the screen, even though he tries his hardest to appear neutral while taking things out of context. Notice how he constantly has to say that there’s technically nothing wrong with “insert thing he’s complaining about”. Or point out that he doesn’t have any issues with X, while still trying to highlight it as an issue? I love how he goes on to argue with SneakyPanda in the comments.
I’ve already been all over with the army, not to places of my choosing. But Jamaica was really nice, at least the tourist area where we had time off. I guess if I had one place to pick, probably Japan so I can go full weeb. I don’t like the heat though, so it would have to be in winter.
I dunno, I made a pretty edgy chaotic Grave Knight. The DM made the terrible mistake of giving me a wand of wonder from Acererak. He randomized it with all kinds different spells and things. So far I’ve fireballed an inn, killing our quest givers and a lot of civilians. Helped drop a wizards egg onto a city killing around 30,000 people, authorities are still sifting through the wreckage for bodies… And we now have nearly every bounty hunter in the world after us. As well as the revenant of a old party member I killed for trying to stop me from using the wand of wonder. Needless to say, things are going great and I started my own squad, the Chaos Squad. lol
Check out your local hobby shop or comic store. Last time I was in Stockholm, SF Bookstore was doing 1 shots and multiple different sessions.
It’s a really cool place, if you’re ever in Stockholm, I’d recommend it. Head down to the old town
You could also just check (Roll20.net). See if you can find a group on there to run with via discord or something. It’s also a lot cheaper as everything is on the site and you don’t need to buy dice and stuff.
I watched Funhaus play this and it looked like a lot of fun.
Read moreIn that case, I got into DnD last year. I got a group of friends whom are running a session normally every week. It’s been a lot of fun and wish I had got into it a lot earlier in life. In my late teens and early 20’s I thought it was too nerdy and stayed away. But damn was I missing out. Would recommend
Also, the Swedes are all playing tieflings, so they just speak in Swedish for their Tiefling language and no one can understand them. Don’t trust those devils…
Doing an online DnD game over discord and the roll20 website with some friends from FFXIV and V2 as well. We all met up in Stockholm last month and thought it would be fun, it is.
Read moreHmmm, I won’t highly recommend it, but it’s definitely worth trying out. Especially since it’s 100% free.
The combat has no where near as much depth as V2 but there is special combos for each weapon and they all shine in a different way. From cutting off monsters tails, horns, etc with a sword to staggering them with great hammer or blasting them away with guns from a distance. Combat is easy to learn and pretty easy in general until the heroic fights, but that’s also it’s charm.
The cross platform is great, don’t feel like sitting at the PC, lay on the couch with your PS4 or Xbox and still play with the same people. It’s even coming to Nitendo Switch.
Since its free, it is grindy. At the same time, I haven’t spent any money and made it to lvl 20 out of 50 in 3 days. But you can buy passes to get 2x loot from hunts or super shiny skins and emotes. No pay to win which I like.
Tldr: Yes, try it out. I’ve invited 5 friends to play, they have all enjoyed it.
