Thanks for your input, especially so quickly! really appreciate the transparency and thanks for getting on it so fast! there's also a bug where you can't open chat and have to alt tab, for the chat to open. started happening the same time as the windows sound iirc! not sure if it's known or not :)
I commented on something similar below, but I'm guessing they are both related (some sort of window-out-of-focus bug) and could be fixed simultaneously, but can't confirm with people til Monday.

Junglers are often enablers (unless you're Graves or Shyvana or something similar). so you actually succeed most by enabling your teammates to do more damage by ganking their lanes, securing objectives, and defending them in fights. Damage dealt is not always a great measure of how you're performing game-to-game. For jungle, kill participation % and objectives secured are good measures of performance!

Nope, should be fixed by people much smarter than me this patch or the next. It's the weekend so can't really collect any more details for you at the moment.

Try to give yourself a break for a week or more. You'll be able to reset your mental and really evaluate whether you miss League enough to come back and grind again. You should always value your own mental health over climbing the ranked ladder.
Dodging games doesn't change your MMR at all, so artificially lowering your rank by dodging does not actually change your position on the ladder in the long run. Certainly not recommended.
Kogmaw overall has higher winrate than Taliyah, but you never mentioned which skill bracket you exist in. I would imagine Taliyah would be a good pick if you like influencing games heavily from minute 1, and Kog'Maw would be a good pick if you enjoy closing out games yourself.

I'd give a big +1 to path of exile. The mechanics of character movement are pretty similar to league (also top-down view), but it's purely solo PvE.
