This is the single best LoL analytical video I've ever seen. I see a lot of people downtalk Azael as a caster, but anyone who doubts his knowledge of video games must not know his history. He's the real deal and he understands the game very well.

Well chosen example of excellent laning by a pro that highlights how series of small outplays builds up to big lane advantages. Great commentary and good editing. A perfect video as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks so much! Really appreciate the kind words <3

Was hoping for smth from MSC and not freakin grandpa Soaz getting smacked (as usual)

Other leagues have given me no access unfortunately to use their pro view type content - hopefully can figure something out in the future to do those types of episodes because I'd love to!

Hey all!

Happy to have another episode of Lane Kingdom out finally! This is one I actually recorded back during playoffs to highlight just how good Ssumday had been playing in the regular season.

Since the move to remote play there has been no pro view which takes away a lot of the ability to make these & I'm hoping that Summer will bring some solutions or I'll be able to make them on some other leagues that may have pro view or an equivalent back up & running.

Enjoy!

Got so many requests for an episode on counter picks, losing match ups & how to survive them!

Was super happy to see this game from Licorice where I felt like he demonstrated a lot of the principles on how to play when you're in a tough spot incredibly well. This is something that I think almost anyone can learn from!

Enjoy & let me know what you think plus what you want for next time! Gonna be trying to get one started while we're all stuck working from home!

Hey all, wanted to clear up any misconception before it starts - this wasn't aimed specifically at Doublelift.

I gave a take earlier on the show that Spring Split does matter & basically it's garbage that so many people are saying it doesn't when if you're a competitor you should be driven to succeed for any number of reasons, career success, achieving playoffs, Finals, MSI, etc etc etc.

This was just a follow up on that. Yes DL said publicly that he doesn't care about Spring but it's generally wide spread sentiment I've been seeing so much of on Twitter & elsewhere in the community.

Super underrated series so far imo, but really appreciate the in-depth analysis and all the work that goes into making it happen!

Thanks so much! If you think so helping to spread it on Twitter, reddit etc when it comes out is greatly appreciated.

Awesome job man, always a big fan of your work and all your insight in videos, on the dive, and especially on broadcasts! Keep it up Azael!

Thank you both!

Hey all!

Really enjoyed doing this episode on Nisqy from a few weeks back vs Eika's Yasuo. It's sometimes really unclear how someone is able to get themselves into a position where they can make a solo kill happen in pro play w/ the observers following all 3 lanes + junglers so I wanted to highlight this game which features some really incredible movement by Nisqy.

Watching the game back I was so impressed with how often he was able to sidestep / dodge Eika's Q's and as a result put himself in an HP advantage allowing him to properly setup the lane for a potential solo kill. One of the hallmarks of a great player is the little micro dodges they're able to consistently do with tiny unpredictable movements back and forth and this is really shown off here.

The episode would've been out a bit earlier but we felt this content wasn't time sensitive and our content team is absolutely swamped with all the stuff we've been putting out this year! I already have a few games targeted for t...

I like this structure because it encourages interesting takes and specific discussions rather than just general discussions about teams. Report and honor is a fun segment as well. And the fact that everything is specifically segmented made the timestamps a lot neater so it's easier to view specific sections of the show.

Also more Jatt

Jatt is only welcome on the show after he can get past the rigorous screening process of telling us he wants to be on the show that week!

Hey all!

Curious to hear what people think about how we structured this episode? Do you prefer going team by team for the LCS section or did you enjoy the overreactions, ones to watch etc as a kick off for conversations?

Thoughts on report / honor?

Hope you're enjoying the new season so far as I'm really excited about the direction of the show & having Mark on full time! Let us know what you think!

Continue to do these, but please no NA players to cheapen it.

It's an NA product made by an NA cast so there will be LCS teams covered! I'm hoping to do international episodes as well though.

It's a great video, congrats!! I would love to see also how advantages are made when you are on the losing side, like playing a tank vs a bruiser or playing a short ranged adc with melee support vs Caitlyn and Morgana.

I for sure want to cover losing MUs!

SwampWTFox

This is great and all, but I don't play Orianna so I'm gonna need you to go ahead and make a few dozen more of these.

Just need Froggen to pop off on some Anivia then I gotchu!

Rimikokorone

Will jungle pathing ever be a part of this? Or will the series stay true to its name and only focus on laning?

Yeah I'd love to show a jungler turning his lanes into lane kingdoms at some point!

Nevran

I really love this work Azael, I agree that focus on laning phase is something we REALLY don't see/have a lot about and I know coaches tend to talk about it sometime but it is very rare. We tend to have now a lot of educational video about tempo, roaming, using pressure, soaking pressures, etc. The macro sort of play. But on the micro side, we don't have anything about like... What make them dominate the lane or snowball or handle a hard lane.

Love it!

Thank you!

Hey all, super excited to share something I worked on with some time off after Worlds!

The laning phase is one of the most interesting parts of pro LoL and IMO the most useful learning tool to use for your own ranked play. Unfortunately when casting games there's never time to fully watch just one lane as we have an entire game to cover!

That's why I started watching Pro View when someone really slammed a laning phase as I was curious just what they did to dominate the lane so hard & that spawned the idea for Lane Kingdom 👑!

This was just meant to be an internal pilot but people really enjoyed it so we decided to share it out & see what the community thinks! There's already a lot of changes & improvements I want to make going forward, but the plan is to cover incredible laning performances from around the World over the course of the year.

Hope you enjoy it!
