I’ve been joking for many leagues now, but I’d be super happy if they just made a league where they didn’t add anything new and just made QoL and QA improvements.

There’s so much low hanging fruit of basic QoL features they could crank out in a week of effort.

As someone said the other day. It’s one thing if your game is in depth and deep due to content or mechanic (that’s good!). But it’s a whole nother (bad) thing if it’s deep because of poor QoL or lacking basic features.

What simple/easy QoL features do you want to see? We're always interested to hear about easy ways to make the game feel a lot better.

Hello u/RhysGGG u/Rory_rackham can we get a comment on whether Volatile Dead is working as intended? Balls are supposed to explode when you reach the cap, but now they are just despawning - this is a huge loss in DPS since we can quite easily hit the cap and despawn balls without dealing any damage

Not intended, they should be exploding. But this won't be fixed in 3.9.2b. Hopefully the next patch after.

I am not trying to Delve into a Beyond node though. Or are you saying it affects other nodes as well?

It can still cause problems if it is close enough to be generated near your Delve path. You probably need to keep at least 2, maybe 3 cells away from it.

Hey can I just check on an issue with volatile dead? There was an issue where if you ran too far away from a volatile dead before it exploded, it would refuse to despawn and you'd end up fighting the boss with like 10 VDs. Has this been fixed with your VD cap fix?

I'm sorry to poke at you, but... I've been completely unable to delve properly this league due to a bug that prevents loading into the mine with certain nodes. There are multiple reports on the forums (including mine) but the problem is not even in the known issues list yet. I get that it's probably not getting attention due to being a widespread issue but it still sucks.

Edit for some extra info:

Some nodes that disallow teleporting to them can be walked to from others. This has let me do a few delves that seemed impossible at first.

However, some nodes attempt to refresh the instance when you try to start a Delve from them - obviously because the area of the instance I entered from another node is limited. Similarily, you can't walk around endlessly in Delve due to the same area limitations. This means that just walking to the broken nodes is not a solution

The Beyond node in the Mines biome specifically cannot generate atm. This will be fixed, but in the meantime you will need to path around it.

It most certainly was because Zana is not in your hideout once you finish the acts and they forgot to add the dialogue lines back when she appears.

Alright, here you go!. Gyazo's framerate/resolution is kind of limited, but it should still be quite visible. It first takes the columns of the sunspire out, and then seems to make a wave of disappearances through the rest of the hideout.

Some extra assorted information:

1] It happens even in places away from the map device. Most of my masters are away from the map device. Niko and Jun are at the very bottom of the hideout and it even happens near them if I trigger their atlas missions.

2] The intensity of the effect seems to scale inversely with respect to the number of already existing portals when a new map is loaded. When there's 6 fresh portals and I generate a new map, it doesn't happen at all. If there's 3 portals it happens at a milder intensity.

This just looks like your client shaders compiling, because you have quite a large number of light sources together. If you wait a few seconds after this without changing areas, your client should compile the necessary shaders to properly render everything and it will stop happening.

Otherwise you might just have too many lights total in your hideout and things are breaking because the portals are hitting the light limit. But if 6 portals exactly works OK then it sounds like it's just shader compilation.

When are we getting fix for citadels not unlocking because you died the first character you started mapping :C Still missing 3 citadels with all the maps opened in that region and cant progress them

What about the issue with Black Portal Effect bugging out and reloading hideout decorations when loading a new map? If you're not sure what this is I can try to get a recording

What about the issues with the Witch and the Grand Sanctum chest piece? I love the set but it looks stupid if I use it on my witch.

Where it sticks out strangely while in Hideouts? Yeah, it's being fixed.

What about the migration issue from SSF to trade league? There are many people waiting for this. Do you have a rough estimate when will it be fixed?

We have to make sure everything is well-tested and works correctly first. Hopefully we can deploy the patch today or tomorrow, but it depends on any issues that may arise from QA and need fixing.

The Crucible Hood will be fixed.

The Crucible portal effect performance will also be fixed (where it slowly gets worse the longer you sit in your Hideout with the portals open).

Hi,

The fancy map device from kirac disappeared.

I reclaimed all items when I got it and changed my HO, now I cannot find the big fancy map device. Someone told me to talk to kirac and I should get it back but nothing has changed and the big map device never returned.

Is the map device not in your hideout stash? If you have the small one, you can change its variation with the mouse wheel to make it into the big one.

Me and friend of mine were doing maps. He asked me to clear map cuz of ele reflect. Meanwhile he took out stones(we are at 4lvl of stones and maps are 14-16tier) to see what maps here and there over the region and forgot to fit in again. We completed map and guess what ? Influence came over region where he had all the stones farmed before and all maps are WHITE, and he is struggling to progress over atlas. Did a ton of whites/reds and still no big boy spawn to clear area and get back citadel. And he cant build pool to deal with this region aswell, but feels like it bugged.We are hitting alarm buttons everywhere we can.

How to solve this possible bug issue?

Ah. For now you are stuck, but we will be patching in a fix for this soon. Sorry!

I don't know if its Lex Proxima specifically or just random regions for different players, but for myself, I cannot get the abandoned citadel to spawn on Lex Proxima despite having run dozens of maps of all 5 available tiers there.

I tried throwing a stick of dynamite late last night and it still crashed me, I'll try again in a couple hours when I get home and report back here.

Zoom in and check it isn't hiding under the UI (really gotta fix that). Otherwise T3+ maps should spawn it. Also I just realized Atlas mission will block the citadel, so try it without them. But there might be some needed bugfixes that aren't patched just yet. Sorry!

edit: We will keep looking at the dynamite/client crashes

Any ETA on when Lex Proxima will be fixed?

I realized last night I had run ~130 maps and a) never realized I needed to put the watchstone IN the slot on the watchtower for it to do anything (partly because clicking a watchstone on a tower without clicking on the slot does nothing - this paired with the fact that watchstones are bigger than a fully zoomed out watchtower doesn't make for a fun user experience) and I spent a significant portion of that time running lex proxima maps trying to get the citadel to spawn only to realize last night I've been spinning me wheels due to a bug that only hits a minority of players.

Team that up with the other bug that makes windows 7 users crash when they throw dynamite in delves and a lot of what makes this game fun has been actively unfun for me this league.

Are we getting this stuff resolved soon?

What's wrong with Lex Proxima specifically?

The dynamite bug was fixed yesterday afaik

Is that the same problem with finding a citadel in one character and then another character not being able to find the citadels until your first character who entered the maps finds them all?

Is 2 true? I have every citadel unlocked but the one in the upper left corner (every map there is t3+) and just can't find it. I ran around 50 maps there while trying everyrhing like changing hideout, eunning with masters, running without, running with watch stones in other areas and without and so on. Is this bugged for me or did I do something wrong/misunderstood something?

Is it hiding under the UI? Try zooming in and having a look. This is another bug we need to fix.
