That's correct. You can only apply each unique perk once.
Exactly what i thought it would be! i'm so happy man. One thing i would say is its a bit crappy that i now need to unslot heros i have in my collection book. i'm at level 285 and have nearly all heros from all events booked so the price to unslot and try this out is gonna be a hefty sum of vbucks

the learning curve for new players though, any thoughts on that?
New players only have a commander slot; slots are revealed as you progress and have explanation tutorials as they unlock.

Can you tell me what zone theme you were in? (I.E. Forest, Grasslands, etc.?) This shouldn't happen and probably means we missed a tag somewhere. Thanks!

FYI - We've fixed this issue in 8.10, and one of our level designers has made a tool that should help us catch and fix similar issues in the future before they ship.
