Every day, Dauntless is growing and expanding. As we prepare to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Epic Games store, we’re excited to welcome more new recruits to the community — and to the Shattered Isles!

To help us welcome the new Slayers of Ramsgate, we’ve recruited a few new and some familiar faces to help answer questions and moderate the subreddit. Please help me welcome them!

(I started today) When I buy a dye every time I have to spend any corrency to apply?

Applying dye, once you own the dye, is free :}

It is a one time purchase for that colour.

Looks like Showrd learned some new moves... I will show this to the studio <3

It will be free to play on most the consoles :} You will need a Xbox Live Gold for Xobx.

As mentioned, the Dauntless launcher will be retired on Console Launch (May 21st). The Epic Games store will launch Dauntless directly, similar to hitting "Play" in the Dauntless Launcher.

• The current dye system is being reworked for 0.8.0.
• Large dye bundles will be replaced by curated dye trios.
• Trios will be priced at 125, 350, and 600 platinum.
• Eight dyes will be retiring for now.
• You will keep all dyes you acquire before 0.8.0 (including retiring dyes).
• Earn dyes from Heroics and Hunt Pass!

Hello Slayers and welcome to another Weekly Reflector Q&A. The purpose of these posts is to reflect on the past week; talk about the feedback that you’re sharing with us and give you an idea of how we’re using it to improve the game; and support bi-weekly Q&As! If a point of feedback that’s important to you isn’t mentioned in this post, it may be because it’s a more recent development – or that we just need a reminder in the comments below!

0.7.1 Upgrade Materials

Tomorrow (Tuesday May 7th) at 2pm PT, Slayers who had gear levels unexpectedly lowered in Patch OB 0.7.1 will have Orbs, Arcstone (Dull and Shining), and Rams added to their accounts. The number of materials you receive will be based on your pre-Path progress, so no need to worry if you've already upgraded some gear. Dauntless will NOT be down during this time.
