The stellaris_test branch isn't being used for crossplay right now. It's being used for 2.7.2 beta so the crossplay branch is the correct branch for steam users to use for crossplay.

I have merged the DLC threads and may continue to do so since it is a very common subject that has been discussed a lot of times.

Hello,Yes! PC Gamepass and Steam users can play multiplayer together. In order to be able to connect, Steam users need to opt-in to the Stellaris_test branch.Right click Stellaris, go to properties > betas tab, and pick stellaris_test from the drop down. Hope this helps.
