They should call it "StarsWar" and have some guy called PapaSmithy help cast it *thinking*

Damn. Dardoch might actually end his career on every single team.
Is this silly? Yes.
Is the idea that Dardoch is somehow on a sidequest to be the only player in LCS history to ever play for every single team unbelievably alluring as a narrative?
Oh yes.
At some point, achieving something no one has ever done before is very tantalising for anyone. I doubt it will happen much like others, but I also somehow want this to happen very badly.
I don't think he'll ever join C9 though unless they have some real bad times ahead of them and are desperate.
If he ever plays for C9A would it count? That's the only possible (although unlikely) scenario I could fathom.
Why did I read this in your voice?
I'm not sure, but it's a very common effect!
Science knows, but I don't.
Cat for Kobe... and Flowers :)
CATFORKOBE
Thank you so much for reading!
My pleasure!
Thanks for making them!
As someone that loves history, especially esports history I've really enjoyed all these posts.
This one hit a little different though, thanks for reminding people of this one!
Ignoring gameplay completely, that theme song SLAPS
THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEONE WITH THE CORRECT PRIORITIES
Yusui is so freaking good
Agreed! It's a shame he's not always consistent, but the level he's shown when he's on is IMO very good.
I think we'll learn a lot about him after this Spring/Summer split, but I've been a big fan of his for awhile and I think he'll likely look better as he adjusts to his new teammates.
Seriously what is this
He's currently playing remote from Canada due to visa stuff IIRC
Allorim was definitely losing some trades but it feels like the casters focused on that matchup a little much considering how many resources IMT was spending to get towers on the opposite side of the map. He's just supposed to not die and hold weak side, which he did plenty fine.
Insanity looked really good this game, and Apollo has been a mid-level LCS player for years so no surprise he's good in academy. I think they are pretty easily top 3 academy teams
Defs was more trying to focus on wanting to see more ults, while also acknowledging Sett's presence making that difficult. He laned totally fine, was basically even the whole time.
Fair to say that we should've maybe focused more on what the other four were doing though (it was a lot)!
Wouldn't there be a problem with too many imports or has that rule changed?
Defs too many imports in that roster sadly, but that does sound like a nasty top-side.
Agreed. His great play at elder really made everyone forget about his lackluster play up until then.
This is a very reasonable criticism, he was playing very much "just ok" up until that play and the whole game was pretty flat honestly.
I think I didn't appreciate that some of these newer rosters, even with a lot of already established players, would take time to build up as a team.
He deserves a fair shot in LCS.
I'd agree, but I think he's still scaling up his overall experience as a pro.
As far as ceiling goes, when Spica is playing the way he wants to he's kind of an unreal player, so I'm excited to keep tabs on him throughout this Academy season!
Dont forget that rookie Jungler Akaadian, rookie mid Damonte and Lourlo in the top lane.
So many NA rookies players in Academy
Actually I think the talent pool in general is really sweet for Academy this split, DIG is just the exception to the rule in this instance xD
I believe it is this
This was my assumption also.
Are there any particular games that come to mind that really show off the prowess that Clearlove had from your memory? And did you have the opportunity to cast any of his games throughout his career?
Yeah I was lucky enough to cast the LPL during EDGs Spring run to their MSI title in 2015 including their final over LGD.
Clearlove's ability to camp for Deft was so great we referred to it as a luxury resort because he'd clearly set up some prime real estate.
But watching his ganking that whole season just screamed a preparation and awareness that feels really rare. I used to say he was the engineer, because when he knew the other jungler it was like he'd set up shop in their brain and would map out timings perfectly. Somehow he always found a way to make his gank work.
Other than that season, I've always had a fondness for an OLD tournament Papa and I casted when he was on WE where he and Misaya played Sion mid + Volibear and just chain invaded the enemy team, I should look for that game it might be on a harddrive somewhere.
CL always struck me as a player that worked hard to be talented rather than naturally being amazing and that's always resonated with me. Few players have g...

It was always going to be difficult, but I'm sad to see such a legend finally leave the rift.
And as I’ve said I’m going to follow every single bit of advice I’ve gotten here. The only reason I haven’t put anything out is I don’t live in a country where technology is cheap and I’m saving up for all of the tech to make it good and high quality as I aspire to be as good as you all who have led the way.
I mean I hear this a lot too, but if you have a PC to play League, the required internet connection to also play League and a headset you use to talk to your friends with while playing, chances are you could've recorded something already!
I saw this more to illustrate that people often overthink what they need and what's involved with casting, without ever taking those next steps because they're so stuck in the planning phase.
But I'm glad the advice you've gotten here has helped you and I'm glad to hear you're investing in your future in casting, can't wait to hear you.
