@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie @XboxSupport @XboxSupport1 @XboxSupport2 Seems likely that it's random, some days you're hitting a CDN that's giving you good speeds, other days it's probably busier than you expect, lot of factors come into play.
@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie Could always try unpausing/pausing :P. Also make sure you're not streaming to the Xbox App as that'll definitely slow it down (and close other open applications). If it's any consolation, I get slow downloads no matter the game haha. I suspect it's just because they're overloaded
@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie Haven't opened any specifically, I just let it ride out and do something else whilst downloading.
RT @survivetheark: PS4 Players in European, Oceanic, Middle Eastern, and African regions (SCEE),
We can confirm that the latest client pat…
@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie We don't host the updates, we just push them through to the other platform systems and theyre sent out to users from there. So whatever platform you're playing on, they're the ones in control of that stuff.
@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie It's just connecting to some platform owned downloads servers and getting the files from there. You might have better luck pausing/resuming but its not something we have control over.
@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie For PS4, doing something like this could help, it seems like others have had success w/ it on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/522ttn/ps4_downloads_are_notoriously_slow_i_might_have/d7gvuvh/
Otherwise just pausing/resuming or just afking whilst it downloads.
@tazman1983 @ComplexMinded @NotDollie Arguably all platforms (literally all) are probably experiencing higher user counts the past few months than ever before due to the pandemic so I can understand things are overloaded.
@JordanLaws0n @NotDollie Correct, we haven't worked on ATLAS for sometime now but were only able to announce the change recently when some of the new crew were introduced.
@sam39857826 @ZZapus @simonallum Yep, they will go back to normal.
Some more good news. Hopefully we'll hear back from Japan & EE (Europe, rest of the world) soon too as their work days are just starting to begin/will begin in a few hours. None of these patches will require server restarts, just client side updates. https://twitter.com/survivetheark/status/1277490229939712005North & South American (SCEA) PS4 Players, We can confirm that the latest client patch (v549.12) with the fixes has passed cert & is live. Please restart your applications/consoles to download the patch. We're still waiting to receive confirmation for other regions.
Big plays from Microsoft and Sony to get these out over the weekend ❤️
I'll probably get a bit quiet again on social now that were through these fires, so for those of you who are seeking ARK news make sure you're following these fine accounts: @survivetheark @ComplexMinded @NotDollie
@bubblywums norts & crosses too
@CarlosAKABabyJ Sure but the approval would have taken place over the weekend for it to be pushed out right now :P
@KEEMSTAR He didn't say he doesn't know, he said Twitch hasn't notified him.
@ZZapus @simonallum Unfortunately we're not able to rollback Obs specifically
@Rpurser311 @yomomma24481252 Don't have an ETA, it's being pushed through the systems though so hopefully sometime soon. It's just a client patch that needs to go out, nothing to do with servers.
Here's another one, don't think it ever saw the light of day so hopefully, I don't get yelled at for sharing but boy did it crack me up. http://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ebp6SUCXsAAZhMG.png
@ZZapus @simonallum We may have a better way to handle this in the future and it's something I'll be discussing with the team in our mtgs today (Monday).
