This current Alpha Two testing period has been extended to go through Monday, April 7, 2025 at 10:00 PM pacific time. Here's the message in the Ashes of Creation Discord where this was announced, and it will localize this to your local time

The open sea isn't ready yet, and we want to test lawless PvP areas during Alpha Two.
For now, as we progress in zone development, our less developed areas are planned to be lawless zones. As we build out these zones and start working on new areas, we expect that where lawless zones are will move to our newest and least developed areas.
