These issues are unfortunately very hard to identify. The VPN is an option as mentioned above, I appreciate it’s not ideal.

Some other considerations:

  • See if the issues persist with mods disabled. The Player List Plus mod in particular has been known to result in connectivity issues

  • Within the ‘Network’ panel, enable the ‘Small Network Packets’ option*

  • Within the ‘Network’ panel, ensure your ‘Max Upload Speed’ is set appropriately to reflect your actual upload speed

*Please be aware this will result in connectivity issues if used in combination with the Player List Plus mod.

I believe this error is the same as Error Code: 30004 (Unexpected Error. (WaitForSingleObject Failed: 2)).

Switch back to NAT Type 2, if NAT Type 3 is currently active.

Did the same errors occur whilst connected to your mobile data hotspot?

Looks like a potentially incomplete installation, please Verify Integrity of Game Files using the instructions below, and see if the issue persists:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
  6. Launch Vermintide 2

Our service provider was particularly unstable over the weekend. Because of that, it’s hard to know whether your issues are the result of that or if something else is at play. Would recommend that you continue to monitor it over the next couple of weeks.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
