I don’t believe your PC being under-specced is leading to your overheating. Traditionally it would CTD. You’ll need to look at what’s causing your overheating on a hardware level.

Please restart Darktide. Have any of your items appeared?

SOUNDTRACK

You should be able to locate the soundtrack using the instructions below:

1. Restart the Steam client
2. Navigate to your Steam library
3. Select the ‘All’/‘Games’ dropdown on the upper left-hand side and select ‘Soundtracks’
4. The Darktide soundtrack should be listed in there and available to download to your chosen directory

If it is not visible here, please:

1. Navigate to the Imperial Edition bundle page: Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Imperial Edition on Steam
2. The price of the bundle should appear to you at a cost of 0 (FREE)
3. Assuming the price of the bundle appears at a cost of 0 (FREE), please proceed with the purchase
4. This should reinstate the soundtrack on to your account

Any luck if you simply exclude the Darktide.exe (Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries) in Kaspersky as opposed to closing it down entirely?
