I just want dismemberment re-added, all the weapons feel so blunt. Console crossplay would also be nice. I still have zero interest in Versus though.
dismemberment should be active on PS5/Xbox Series S|X already as well as 60FPS
Vermintide 2 is still a PS4/XB1 game with all the requirements and limitations that comes with that. We did update it to run at 60FPs on PS5/Xbox Series S|X though.
I didn't even realise you get 2 days extra to collect them. That's even better!

Just to throw this in, on PS5, everytime you get to the end of a mission the game crashes. Just as you stand in the circle, it saves your stuff but you lose all your preset options. It's annoying as hell!
This was a backend issue that occured during friday evening and unfortunately we didn't catch it until today. It has been resolved now. Sorry for the inconvenience

Nah, we added it a while back when we deprecated the old PC UI. It didn't quite make sense to maintain two seperate UI:s so we took the time to add a bunch of quality of life changes for the new UI to make the transition worth it for veteran players. This was one of those QoL features

There is a little cogwheel next to your weapon in the inventory that allows you to customize your equipment
By sigmar can we have that in the options to be disabled please
There is already an option for that in the versus options tab
That "thing" is indeed gone after restart of the game. But still shifts whole UI.
It's a mod error but the modder is on it apparently
Edit: I have no idea why this worked, but I started up a Quick Match, set it to Normal, and just left it searching for a match (I didn’t set it to host myself).
After a minute or two, the “Hold LB to Host” changed to “Hold LB To Start Game”, and then a “Are you sure you want to start without a full group” msg, and once selecting “Yes”, I was loaded into the start of the mission with bots!

Quick play will search for games with several easing rotation on the rules that in total is 30s IIRC. If you just do custom game and make it private you will get the choice to start directly
that makes sense. sadly the ui tweaks mod, at least last time i checked, required the old menu to function.
tbf its crazy you guys still do anything at all with vt2, but i love that you do, its such a crazy good game. i hope someone at fatshark bonk their head and get stuck with an obsessive thought to compete with deeprock galactic and just go wild on the vt2 updates.
the chaos wastes update may be one of the greatest updates to a game ever, just out of nowhere "here, have this totally new gamemode on our old game".
