Seconding this; had this issue, and my sticks were dying. Verm is a bit rough on controllers (I’ve gone through two).
I’m currently on contract with a large FinTech company. Our offices mandating all non-essential employees to work from home made national news here. That said, I’m going a bit stir crazy, and the heavy proxy/VPN restrictions from work can make my job slightly more time-consuming than I’d like since I can’t just walk downstairs to the help desks. I’m trying to use the time during breaks to straighten up the house and kind of reflect on things and where I want to be in my career and overall try and become a better person once we come out the other end of this.
Hope everyone is safe and healthy!
No, this has been a problem starting maybe about…three weeks ago?
Apologies for the overly-long title. Apparently the forum won’t let me use, “Crash on Startup Using DX12.”
I will crash sometimes (maybe about 75% of the time?) when starting up the game in official or modded when using DX12. If I switch to DX11, the problem resolves.
Attached you’ll find the log (this particular log is modded realm):

Yeah, I agree with this. I came from PS4 where you were unable to turn it off so it didn’t start bothering me until I moved to PC and a friend begged me to get No Wobble and then I could never play with wobble in this game again.
The wobble in this game is super distinct, and I’d love to see it baked into base game as an option to turn on and off if it’s possible!
No no haha, why is it that way? Kept this in mind during my games last night and seems to be true, just seems somewhat of a strange design choice.
Is there a reason for that, though? Seems a bit strange.
Yeah I have the G502 Proteus Spectrum, so it’s wired in.
I have a G502 Lightspeed, wireless but still similar. I started having interrupted behaviour just weeks after buying it, turns out they’re using cheap trash switches to save some cents on a super expensive mouse.
Oh that’s unfortunate, I was looking into upgrading to that since I love my G502. I’ll hunt around for a different mouse and see what happens. Thanks for the help!
Hi!
I’ve been experiencing this issue since the release of 2.0, but some weapons suffer from what I would call “sticky inputs,” where the input is either eaten, incorrect, or not read at all.
Some of the weapons/attack patterns I’ve noticed this on include:
- Sword & Dagger: H1 > L2 (L2 follow up goes missing, so it pauses and throws out a different light attack)
- Kruber Spear: Push attack (doesn’t finish)
- Rapier: Push attack (doesn’t finish)
- Crowbill: Push attack (doesn’t finish)
- Dual Daggers: Light spam (some light attacks go missing and/or sometimes a light attack randomly gets thrown out with not me pressing anything, but rarely)
It’s usually tied to frame rate drops, but not always.
I’m on a Logitech G502 that only has about 7 months of solid use, if that means anything.

Yeah the patch notes are incorrect; it’s for crash fixes.
It’s not available just quite yet. I’ll have a link for you on the latest news in a bit.

I found that can happen off Cata and is a weird spawn tweaks thing I think. Just a hunch though; someone might have to code dig to find the real answer. (Had some Legend TS attempts where things got whacky)
No, it has a special cap at 5/3 (five at a time, three of the same type). I think the cooldown for them is much shorter, however.
As someone on ps4 where cata isn’t a thing, yet…that’s nuts, even for cata. @_@
I like this feedback; it’s well constructed!
I think some of the thp issues come from lack of accessibility while dodging and the fact that in your current patch on console, cleave thp is nerfed, so you’re left with kill, stagger, or crit/headshot (the latter of which can be a little bit finicky on a controller). PC is currently in beta with cleave thp back right now; so hopefully it’ll stick and you’ll see that push through and you’ll have an easier time retaining thp.
The new tracking punishes back dodge more as well in 2.0; which can also be somewhat of a thorny problem on a controller. It’s def doable, just a little more difficult than before since the windows are less forgiving.
Read morePlayed console patch the other day; I have to push a little more and I’m super rusty with a controller now; but legend you’re still able to mow down most enemies due to the sheer power increase console weapons have in the first place. It’s for certain a different game; but not ruined at all. Peer group has been enjoying the change of pace and the new challenge of legend.
Just checked, game does not crash with all mods disabled.
