To our immediate knowledge it seems to have fixed Polar Peak as well. Let us know if you see any additional strange shenanigans happening in the snow!
Update as of 3:12 AM ET: We have applied a server fix which seems to have solved the issue. This will not require a game restart or any additional download. Please let us know if you continue to experience the same problem as before, and good luck out there!
The Fortnite World Cup is right around the corner! With this event looming, we are constantly working on improving our broadcasting tools so that anyone can hop into the action as a spectator.
Starting today as a trial run, we’d like to share with players a plethora of replays for wider testing of our work-in-progress spectating system. This initial test will allow anyone on PC the ability to grab, and view the full replays of some of the high intensity matches that occur during the Luxe Cup. We’re excited to see VoD reviews, montages, highlights, and other creative content from the community during this first public test.
Replay files of every Luxe Cup match this weekend will be added to the Google Sheets below. (Please note, as these files are quite large, they may take some time to load).

Wanted to give a quick update on the Duos Luxe Cup this weekend.
First, a reminder that all players who compete in the Final Round of the Luxe Cup and other upcoming cash prize tournaments will be required to enable 2FA and link their account to an Epic ID. You can do so by following our guide here: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/news/2fa.
Also, to be eligible to participate in any Luxe Cup match, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence). Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the Event. All competitors will also be required to acknowledge and accept the official rules in-game before playing. Players must also have a minimum Account Level of 15.

Wanted to give a quick update on the Scallywag Cup this weekend and what to expect.
Placing in the top 3% in the Gauntlet Test Event by 3/16/19 will unlock this weekend event in-game. The Scallywag Cup will occur across two rounds - Round One (Semi-Finals) on Saturday and Round Two (Finals) on Sunday. Each round will be its own 3 hour session. Participants will also only be able to play a maximum of 10 matches during each session.
The Top 1500 teams in each region at the conclusion of the Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals. After the Finals have concluded, the top 25 eligible teams in each region will be awarded the following prizes:

The original Secret Skirmish announcement teased “additional operations” to be held in the evenings after the primary Battle Royale competitions each day.
The initial plan was to hold a non-Battle Royale competition each night after the Solos and Duos matches to illustrate more competitive options in the Fortnite competitive ecosystem. Unfortunately, after testing on-site, we ran into technical issues that prevent us from holding these bonus competitions with the confidence needed to produce the show. We are removing the secret evening “operations” from the original schedule, and will continue with the Solos and Duos competition as planned.
The $25,000 prize pool that we had originally set aside for the additional evening competitions will be reallocated into the Duos prize pool. A total of $100,000 will now be up for grabs in the Duos competition, up from $75,000 previously. Solos will remain at the same prizepool with $400,000 up for grabs.

Starting with the update, you’ll start to notice “Pop-Up Cups” within the events tab as apart of our online tournaments system.
What’s a ‘Pop-Up Cup’?
It’s a way for us to try out different settings in a more competitive environment. Make sure you stay updated on the rules for each Pop-Up via the in-game events tab!
Think of these ‘Pop-Ups’ as the equivalent of Competitive LTMs where we can try out large adjustments in a more competitive environment. Let us know what you think each time we run a new Pop-Up Cup.
