Did restarting the app fix this issue? What device are you using while you encounter this?

And this has only happened while you have been playing on an iPad with iOS 13? Is this occurring every match you try to get into, or have you been able to successfully get into a match at least once?

Does this occur with multiple pickaxes or just the one you have equipped?

i’m not sure, i haven’t gotten a chance to try. this is the first time i have experienced it, but based on this posts comment history i think it’s with multiple

What version of Fortnite did you offload? Was this before or after the release of Party Hub?

Hey, We are aware of an issue with Letterboxing (black bars) impacting the sides on iOS devices after the 10.31 update. A potential workaround is uninstalling and reinstalling the Fortnite application, this may fix this issue. You can follow along with the Trello card here.

I haven't been able to join a game since todays update. Is this something you're looking into?

What platform was this occurring to you on, and was there an error message shown?

I'm on PS4. The first time I try to join a game it just says "whoops session expired" after that it just says "connecting to matchmaking services"

All the other games I've tried work just like normal.
