Honestly, if quips make it as-is to live client, especially without an option to mute them separately, I'll definitely leave a negative review on steam. I love this game to death but HiRez needs a wake up call when it comes to stuff like this, cause it'll just keep getting worse (especially cause this is listed as a Pack 1).
I'm super glad that devs spent time working on this over new gods/items.
Combined with the fact the game has been borderline unplayable with the amount of trolls and a really poorly tested movement patch that is taking ages to revert, I can definitely see why both the player count and the ratings are bleeding.
Read moreIf you want to add a soundboard to the game for 20 dollars, sure. But audio in this game is essential, and having your enemy randomly drop a fart or a "sad party" in crucial moments will defeat the purpose of clear audio communication within the game.
I should not have to mute my teammate and enemy VGS/voice/whatever every game just to get rid of the fart.mp4, and there should absolutely be a volume slider for it.
Removing because a google search for "smite 2 lightning symbol" reveals several reddit posts posted in the last month answering this exact topic.
Lightning bolts means the user's username is from Smite 1, a legacy name.
Name colors are 50 USD (or 75 USD if you want the animated version) lmao
No you dont get it it's so funny when the enemy Bellona throws a fart sound because you stalled camps it really makes you feel like you're playing the battleground of the gods.
Seriously though my only hope is that they fuck up the pricing of this the same way they did with name colors so I don't see anyone using them. I'm just so sick of the game I love being turned into the battleground of the kindergartners..
Kali looks SO good - abilities seem great and the model changes are so so so needed
God builder menu UI is... something. But that can be fixed with time easily. There doesn't appear to be an option to use the same build on several gods which is something I hope they add eventually - copying is fine but having to edit the same build every time a new patch hits will get old fast
Item specialization sounds REALLY promising so far. The only one I don't like is Nemean lion, but it's yet to be seen how that will look with all of the changes.
React quips sure are a feature that exists.
Leaving games that are dead is a weird feature IMO. It feels like a weird design directive to decide to bypass the surrender system in a game that's all about teamplay, and allow individual teammates to make such large scale decisions. However things that absolutely NEED to change in it IMO are:
If you leave without the deserter penalty and your team somehow wins the game without you, you should absolute...
The skin not being in the classic chest is most likely a mistake, as that has been the case for basically every classic skin released in the last month, where it takes a few hours for it to actually be added there.
Also, if you own everything from the chest, you get 800 legacy gems from the Wandering Market, allowing you to purchase the chest at any point in the future.
You're just spreading misinformation, so your post is removed. Furthermore, what relevance does this post have when it comes to Smite?
We've recently had a big rule discussion and rules that we have is what we settled on based on community feedback.
We are much more lenient with god concepts now, which is why your post remained without an issue, but we still have limits on the quantity of them and rules regarding spam.
I wasn't the one to remove your posts, but that doesn't even matter. I don't understand the need to be so mad when all I did was provide some explanation as to why your posts were removed. The rule you're complaining about was community voted, hence why we think it's the best for the community to enjoy. Basically, you're welcome to post any god concepts you want, but our only requirement is that you space them out so that they don't spam the subreddit.
We feel like that's really a pretty reasonable ask, and you're more than welcome to repost your posts with reasonable spacing as I can tell it took time to make.

React quips
Great
Rage is back tho, that's poggers
Thanks for the response. I think you understand that your input here is very appreciated, regardless of the topic at hand.
Game dev has a lot to it, we all know that. A lot of it is your typical bureaucracy when things are being done in a corporate environment as you mentioned, but there's also overhead that ANY new feature has as there's some standard stuff that needs to be done for it (adding a new cosmetic type, implementing back end storage of it, etc etc). I really don't want to undermine the effort a day to day task takes, nor do I want to undermine the work the team does on a daily basis. We are both here because we are passionate about the game, just from different angles.
But, we all know why this is happening right now. The team has said on several occasions that Founder's Packs didn't sell as well as expected. To provide true value for the pricepoint you're charging for these new items, you'd have to do a mini founder's pack, and corporate just can't risk that with how ba...
Read moreI guess what I'm trying to explain in this long yapfest that I wrote above is that my outrage is mainly just because of how bad of a decision I consider this to be for the long term health of the game.
The fact that I feel like spending less on the game because of it means to me that there will be other people that will feel like that too, and that directly presents a danger to one of my favorite games of all time. I'm frustrated the decisions have been made that have the potential to push people away from investing in the game with something that was literally meant to do otherwise. I'm frustrated because these items could have been reasonably priced but they weren't, showing a sign of disrespect towards the community that has made Smite 2 last this long in the first place.

I don't mind that you posted lmao, I was just giving an explanation as to why it was removed
I bought 100 dollars worth of diamonds to support the game today and I'm by no means rich
This is literally why I referred to it as exploitative in another comment thanks for this lol.
Obviously it's your decision to with your finances as you wish, and if you think this is money well spent, I'm glad.
