The Photon UI team is excited to introduce a long-awaited feature: Multiple Overviews.

This is currently on the Singularity test server, and can be enabled by hitting escape, navigating to Feature Previews, and then enabling “Multiple Overviews”.

Hey! We’re making some tweaks to the docking audio to make it a little less intense, especially for those with multiple accounts or who dock often. It should be in next week.

Thanks for the kind words! We hope that Uprising puts into context a lot of what we chatted about at Fanfest. The developers have been hard at work the last few months, and we look forward to getting back to it for the next expansion.

It has come to our attention that there is a malfunction in the retroactive recruitment process whereby some recruiters were receiving the wrong rewards. Recruitees were correctly receiving 1 million skillpoints, this was only affecting some recruiters.
We are investigating this but in the mean time, effective immediately, the retroactive recruitment link has been temporarily disabled. In the interim, you will still be able to use your recruiter link for new pilots.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to rectify this issue and restore intended use to the recruiter tool. We will update this thread as we know more information.

E: as of 15:35 on 10 November, the issue has been resolved and the retroactive recruitment link is back online and giving the correct rewards. It may take a few moments for the fix to apply, but should be up and working well before 16:00. Thanks everyone, and happy recruiting!

Sorry for the slow response. We are aware that there are valid reasons to want to change a characters name, while also preserving identity in a single shard universe where a capsuleers actions are permanent. There are some amazing ideas in the community that would combine both these concerns.

That being said, gladly will continue to relay this desire to relevant parties and will update as soon as I know anything.

Just be forewarned, we’ve taken a firmer stance on this during the Alliance Tournament season and this is a clear violation of policy. Hoping that “nobody cares outside of mass tests” is an unwise strategy.

CSM 17 is well underway, and they’ve had roughly 20 hours of meetings since being elected! I’d like to shed some light on to what the CSM has been up to. Before we start, I wanted to touch on attendance. Despite needing to accommodate a bevvy of international schedules, the lowest attendance record is 80%, and there’s no single member who has missed more than 3 meetings. Very proud of our incredibly active CSM. But let’s get to it!

June & July

CSM 17 saw seven new members on the council, so the summer started with onboarding and transitioning. With so many new members, it was vital to give the transitioning phase plenty of time and opportunity to ensure the knowledge share between CSMs stayed intact. Beyond transitioning, the next area of focus was planning and prioritization for CSM 17s first quarter goals.

Our first joint meeting was to discuss Factional Warfare plans, and a high-level look at what was planned for Q4 and beyond. CSM 17 also met with Game...

I think Shines identified a lot of issues that players of many playstyles feel is important; some of his answers are null-sec focuses, but the problems are more universal. I’m oversimplifying, of course, but:

• I want a reason to undock
• I want some goals that are within reach, and some that are harder
• I want more people in space to interact with
• I want iterative changes to systems I’ve mastered

New, old, null, hs - I think those are some topics that a lot of players can get behind.
