We have received a number of support tickets regarding both refunds of tickets and asking if there are any further tickets available due to Fanfest 2023 being sold out.

As per our refund policy for Fanfest we cannot offer to refund any purchased tickets but they may be exchanged by the current ticket owner at their discretion by changing the ticket holder name on eventbrite and arranging any exchange of currency themselves.

PLEASE NOTE: CCP Games does not guarantee exchanges for tickets nor assist in them. However, we will treat any scam attempts extremely seriously and forward any information of such reports to local law enforcement authorities.

You may use this thread to both advertise that you are looking for a ticket or that you are looking to sell your ticket.

Known Issues:

Launcher
There are some cases where the launcher cannot download parts of the Viridian patch

Gameplay
Mining lasers do not work. A fix for this our highest priority.

Audio

• Hangar atmosphere audio can be very loud upon docking
• Various atmosphere audio is persisting longer than intended and following the player

Graphics

• Structure modules are not updating correctly after SKINR nanocoat application. Any applied nanocoatings should be rendered automatically once the issue is resolved
• Applying SKINR nanocoat to structure causes corporation/alliance banners to slowly fade away
• Certain station interiors appear too bright when reflections are set to “High” and “Ultra”

Miscellaneous

• Items purchased with Corporation LP are currently delivered to the purchasing character’s personal Item Hangar

Native Mac Client

• Several graphical effects (for some turrets, smartbombs, wormhole effects) are not displayed correctly on Mac clients

It has now been 48 hours since the updates were implemented, and chat continues to be stable. We will monitor and keep this thread open for further updates.

It’s been 24 hours since the updates we performed at downtime yesterday have been in effect. In those 24 hours we have seen chat stability return.

The chat stability validates the results of our investigation, which has been ongoing since these issues arose, in that the underlying cause of the outages was due to a third party. We will continue to monitor the chat system and will update you when further information is able to be disclosed.

Since downtime today chat has remained stable and we see no indicators that is going to change. We will continue monitoring and give updates if that changes and chat starts getting outages again.

In the short term we are working on changes that prevent this from happening again. Once the necessary changes are in place...

Let me clarify.

The problem that arose from the staging system being on the same node as X47 was resolved shortly after server downtime manually. X47 was the only system on the node for multiple hours before node death.

Those two problems are not related.

Yesterday you took to the battlefield and had yourselves a massive brawl in X47L-Q with local reaching over 6,000 pilots. These moments are always awe inspiring and we get extremely excited to witness these battles and wars unfold. It is our goal to deliver the capability for you to create these moments, in ever bigger and more glorious fashion.

I will go over the general circumstances surrounding the issues you experienced yesterday and what we are doing to address them going forward.

As for the issues that ultimately lead to a node death which contained the system in which the fight took place, they were unexpected. At this time it is not known what caused it, we are looking into this and if they relate to the previous recent node deaths.

Following server downtime a new boundary was pushed when an attempt was made to simultaneously log in every participant as the system was loading. Usually battles of this size do not span downtime and with this many participants the ...

They are displayed at the bottom of the report in the blog. We understand that by themselves they are mostly illustrative but they also come with a html file located in the raw data. When loaded you can find statistical data for each battle.

Hey!

The verification method to see if a character has visited each system in EVE is not baked in, so to speak and the verification is fairly complicated and time consuming.

We are only able to offer verification for the purposes of confirming a new record holder for a Guinness World Record for the specific category of being the fastest to visit each star system without losing a single ship in combat throughout the journey.

The current record holder is Henrique Arnolles and we covered it last year here in this news item below.
